Jayys POV-

I held by breath just as I heard Dahvie open the door.

"Jayy, you okay?" He asked in a weak voice.

I didn't say anything. I wasn't okay. I couldn't bear to see Dahvie hurt, so how am I going to hurt him myself?

I won't.

But how can I not?!

"Jayy?" Dahvie asked and I could hear him start to worry

I croaked out a "what" and I heard him sigh in relief, something we both seem to do a lot.

"Please come out, I need you" he whispered.

"I can't" I said.

"You can't do a lot of things anymore can you Jayy?!" He asked in a very angry voice.

I let out a sob and put my head in my hands.

"I'm sorry." He told me, with (I hope) all the anger gone.

"No your not" I said and continued up cry.

"Yes I am! I just want you out here with me please come out and tell me what's wrong." He said to me.

"You don't understand Dahvie. I can't come out, I can barley stand stable on the other side of a door from you"

I Heard him mutter a little "huh?" To himself.

"Are you mad at me? Did I do something..?" He asked sounding heartbroken and I felt weak.

"No Dahvie you didn't do anything! I'm not mad."

"Than please come out"

I sighed a bit. Maybe I can hold it together.

Just maybe.

I slowly reached for the lock on the door and silently turned it.

As soon as I was out of the doorway I was pulled into a huge warm hug.

"Thank you" he said In my ear.

I nodded. Ugh his scent is going to drive me all the way to the edge!

"Dahvie... Remember how earlier you wanted to know why we hurt to be away from each other?"

He nodded. "Go on.."

"We'll the reason- the reason is- I- I mean, your my mate Dahvie" I said. I was so scared to tell him. I couldn't stop thinking all day about what could happen.

He could think it was all fake and that I only loved him because I have no choice to love him.

He could start thinking that he doesn't really love me- its just the "mate" thing.

He could get mad at me for keeping it a secret.

But instead- he didn't believe me.

He chuckled. "I know I am Jayy"

"No d-Dahvie you dot understand. This is real I swear. Dahvie, look at me"

He pulled back from my neck to look me in the eye. "I'm a vampire and.. Umm.. Your my mate"

He stared at me in disbelief.

He opened his mouth to speak.

Oh shitt here it comes. He's gonna hate me.

"How?" Was all that escaped.

I explained the story and he just stood starring at me.

"Dahvie?" I asked in a light voice. When I closed my mouth I felt the teeth poke my lips. So sharp they made two small holes but not making enough blood come out two smell.

"So you can only feed... From me?" Dahvie asked without looking at me. "Yea"

It was quiet for a minute and I was getting hungrier by the second.

Dahvie noticed and looked me in the eye.

"Dahvie I need it" I growled without thinking and leaned down to his neck. I couldn't stop myself, my heart was screaming at me to stop but I couldn't.

It was amazing, finally relief.

I managed to convince myself to stop as soon as I felt his arm loosen the grip he had on mine.

Then I came to my senses and felt tears come to my eyes. But I wasn't hungry anymore.

"Jayy don't cry it's okay I understand why I just didn't expect you to do it so quickly" he said in a raspy voice. "I'm fine"

My heard jumped for joy at his voice even if it was slightly weaker.

"I'm so sorry dahvie! I'll never do it again, I can't believe I just did that." I said into his neck and licked The wound. It instantly faded but when I pulled back I noticed something- two small indents from where I had bitten him.

"Jayy" he gasped and let go of my arm. "What?" I asked and moved away from him. He had a confused face on and looked at my arm. I looked down and saw small intents of where he had gripped my arm, they were barley noticeable, yet we still saw them because we made them.

"I don't know what the hell this means. But, your not mad at me are you? I'm sorry I never told you, I didn't know anything about you being my mate until the day you came back" I said to him.

"I'm not mad. Besides, I loved you even before all of this shit happened"

I smiled. "I loved you to. And I'll always love you"

i leaned down to kiss my one and only. Maybe being a vampire isn't so bad after all....
