Prologue

Hailey's p.o.v

I was on my way to the to Mr.Keely's office when I heard whispering and crying behind the lockers. I really didn't want to hear any of their teenage drama until I heard my name and came to a halt.

"I promise I will never leave you even if Hailey is my mate" Zach said lovingly. Mate? "I will reject her if you promise me you will reject yours" said Zach , unaware of my presence. I felt a slight pang in my chest . I don't know why his words had such an effect on Me..

"Zach there is something I have been meaning to tell you.." Jessica said hesitantly. " Dre is my mate" , "and I accept him, we have decided to make it official' she continued. I felt bad for Zach but also relieved? Odd...

I admit he is unbelievably handsome , with his soft glowing dirty blonde hair , striking blue eyes with flecks of hazel and green, his perfectly chiseled jaw which added more intensity to his hard gazes.

My thoughts were rudely interrupted by the school bell, but it did not seem to have an effect on the couple. They continued their conversation but I was suddenly distracted by someone tapping my shoulder.Dre?
