Chapter fourteen

I love this poem!!

Oh, a wonderful horse

Is the fly- away horse

Perhaps you have

seen him before;

Perhaps, while you slept,

His shadow has swept

Through the moonlight

That floats on the floor

I felt completely at ease, and I could feel that my powers had returned.

I opened my eyes to blackness, andI panicked. What is going on?

Then I remembered that I was underneath Ebony's wing.

Argh, I feel like a doofus right now.

I crawled out to see Ebony give me an amused look.

"So, Do I have fleas?" He asked, playing innocent.

"No.." I grumbled, standing up.

"Come on, lets go"

We made our way down the hallway and looked for the others.

My powers felt the strongest they had ever been. It was wierd.

I sent things flying, for the fun of it.

"..Stop it..." Ebony mind-spoke, forcing me out of my little world.

"Sorry" I said and everything just fell out of the sky.

Ebony shot me an annoyed look as a lamp fell on his head.

"We need to find the others"

"Yeah, before you get distracted" Ebony snorted.

"Yeah, Yeah, Let's go"

We went back to my hospital room and no one was there.

"They must be in their own rooms" Ebony said "Come on, Let's go find them"

"Yeah" I said vaguely, nodding my head.

We arrived at Crystals room and went inside.

"Your awake! How are you feeling?" Crystal asked, jumping out of her bed, she had obviously been sleeping.

"Great. So, what exactly are we doing now? We are the queens, I had my powers drained by a lunatic and now I'm feeling better. What's next?"

"Uh, I'm not sure, We will talk to Sir Edward in the morning"

"Ok... Goodnight then"

"'night"

I made my way to my room and fell into bed. Ebony settled on my bed, taking up all the room but I didn't mind.

I fell asleep quickly, tucked between Ebony's wing and the pillow.
