Jake P.o.V.
"so I know your all wondering why I called all of you so suddenly in my office for a meeting that wasn't scheduled during you lunch hour, and not include the entire staff" I told them clearing the air. I looked around my office and saw everyone nodding their hands and looking at one one another with confusion written all over their faces.
Now that I had everyone's attention I decided to continue " if you all looked at your class list on yesterday you should have noticed printed on your sheets the name Jaime Alexander-"
"what's so important about this guy that you had to have a meeting to tell us about him, is he an ex-con or something" I heard Helga ask
"yeah you've never had a meeting about any of our other students with us so what's so special about this one?" James asked agreeing with her
"well if people would stop jumping to conclusions and interrupting me then you'll know" I replied irritably specifically looking at Helga and James in particular
"as I was saying Jaime will be studying dance and art specifically ballet. She is also here on scholarship. Now the only problem here, is that, she has no experience in either one of these courses as far as I know-"
"WHATTT"! Helga screamed at me jumping out of her seat
"you've got to be kidding me right, I mean you can't be serious about this, are you"? she looked at me with a hopeful expression in her eyes
"do I look like i'm kidding"
"Jake we are one of the top Performing Arts Schools in the world, I mean we even rank higher than Juilliard. We have thousands of admissions letters sent to us everyday filled with unspeakable talent ,but, yet you choose to throw it away on some flimsy little girl and you don't even know if she can walk in a straight line yet paint stick people and you ask us to be okay with it"
I heard a chorus of yeahs of agreements and mumblings of discontent all through out. the next time I spoke it was an eerie calm tone as I was struggling to keep the anger out of my voice
"I didn't ask you guys anything I simply informed so that you would be prepared and not be knocking down my door about every little complaint" my voice rose an octave with each word I said, well I guess I failed at not trying to sound angry.
"I've been dancing since I could first walk and I became a legend because of my hardwork, determination, sweat, blood, and tears. The same goes for my student's they deserve to be here and not some puppy dog eyed girl you took pity on" Helga cried out in a fit of anger
"Helga I understand why your angry"
"No you don't understand" she said cutting me off crossing her arms over her chest and one leg over the other
"When my ballet career ended do you know how many proposals I had lined up at my feet I could've had my own school or theater, but, yet I chose to help you out when you first got the idea to start this school and look where we are now a highly Prestigious Performing Arts School and your going to run it into the ground with one stupid idiotic decision." She huffed out it seemed as in one breath
Everything Helga was saying was true and it was making me feel sorry about what I was making the do and go back on my promise to Jaime, but a voice that I've been hearing for the past 20 years interrupted before I could even get anything out.
"Helga that's enough yes what Jake is proposing right now seems a little outrageous even I'm a little wary,but, every decision he's made for this school was obviously right because of where we are today and stop acting like your the only ballet teacher here because as far as I'm concerned each one here is as qualified or better then you so stop throwing a tantrum and act your age." My wife spat out at her
After she said that Helga immediately shut up and I shot my wife a grateful smile, which entail gave me the confidence to stick with my promise to Jaime.
"Thank you Diane for that heartfelt speech and nice to see someone still believes in me" I said turning to look at my wife and then back to the shocked faces of everyone else who all couldn't believe that my usually quiet wife hollered at someone especially Helga; heck even I was a little bit shocked myself.
"So as I was discussing earlier Jaime will be starting here next Monday, so that gives you at least a week to prepare yourselves and I don't won't to hear any bad mouthing to anyone or you'll be suspended do you understand." As said with a sense of finality and it seemed as if they understood that I wasn't playing around this time because I heard a chorus of agreement around the room.
"Well lunch should be ending in about 10 minutes" I said looking at the black and gold Rolex watch on my right wrist
"I'm sure you all need to be getting prepared for your next class so this meeting is adjourned; you're dismissed" I told them as I stood up to put Jaime's file back in the file cabinet.
I heard a rustling of movement and papers and bodies moving and then silence letting me know that everyone was gone all except for one.
"I should've known that you weren't going to leave here just that easy Danny" I said turning around to face her
"You look even more beautiful then you 26 years ago do you know that?" I told her as I walked closer to her and pulled her closer to me; rubbing the right side of her face lovingly reaching in for a kiss, but she stopped me before I could kiss her
"Flattery will get you nowwhere right now Jake, though I stood up for you I'm probably more skeptical about this than they are, but, I trust you no matter how crazy this situation is right now, but, you better explain everything to me tonight and I mean everything you better not leave anything out" she said rubbing my stubbly cheek with soft sensual strokes
"Oh trust me babe I'll make sure you know everything down to my social security number" I said huskily going in for another kiss, but, she stopped me again before I could finish it
"Oh no no no you don't get taste any of this until I know what's going on inside that pre-balding head of yours" she said jokingly kissing my head while I shot her a mock glare.
"Ughh that's too long of a wait babe" I whined pulling her close to me and nuzzling her neck I felt her responding back until she caught herself and disentangled herself from me
"If you care that much about it then you can wait" she said sternly and then turned around walking towards the door sashaying her hips seductively.
Damn that woman "ughh fine but after I tell you it's just me and you" I said seriously as she was twisting the doorknob to leave out
"Oh trust me I wouldn't have it any other way Mr. Sandburg"" she said seductively winking and then she shut the door. I could hear chuckling on the other side of the door
So she thinks this is funny , oh IMA show her just how funny this is later on. Shoot if I would've known that helping Jaime would bring me this much problems I wouldn't have offered. Yes you would have much conscious told me which was true it was just the horniness talking.
Anyways we've got bigger problems to take care of like where Jaime is going to be living. I think I can get to that after we take care of the situation in my pants.
DAMN WOMAN. I quickly grabbed my coat off my desk chair and walked out of my office shutting the light off.
