There was a cat,
That was not so fat;
He was chubby,
And his face was grubby
He was mean,
And his senses were keen.
Well, except one,
The supposedly common.
He was very curious,
And often too serious.
He'd touch everything in sight,
And sometimes would bite.
One day, he went to the garden,
Along with the children.
And nearby,
Was a butterfly.
He was very curious.
And with a look so serious,
He flew through the air
With his teeth bare.
The butterfly flew,
Before he knew.
And he was so close!
He ended up eating the rose.
