Jungkook moves around the grand kitchen, simply because he is nervous and can't sit his ass down on one spot.
His family would be hosting Yoongi's for a sort of family dinner. And all his other cousins and aunties too would be coming.

Saying he is nervous would be an understatement.

Taehyung's eyes scan the kitchen, seeing all the top tier chefs hired specifically for this occasion. He stares at Jungkook who is zoned out. His eyes wide yet blank as he stares at the meat being seasoned.

"I still don't understand why you called other people. You know how they are." Taehyung tells Jungkook who sighs and runs his hand down his face.

"Mom insisted, said they are still family no matter what."

"Oh yeah?" Taehyung scoffs. "They were the ones who wanted to take all of dad's money. They wanted us to be homeless. They kept making fun of mom when she couldn't handle the company well-"

"Don't remind me." Jungkook frowns as they walk out of the kitchen.

"I bet they would come here, preaching how it's wrong that we are getting married to males." Taehyung grumbles fixing his sleeve. They walk outside to their backyard space. The place is well set. A proper event tent having a long table with seats on either side. The lights are stylishly hanged, creating a beautiful chrome pattern in the tent. The seats are wrapped in silk white and gold fabrics. Buckets of dry ice hold the champagne bottles with the flutes arranged on the long dinner table.

Mrs Jeon appears, wearing a blue flowy gown. Her hair held up in a neat bun with a sparkly pure gold Cartier hair pin securing it. She smiles on seeing her two sons. One nervous and the other clearly annoyed.

"Mama Jeon! Looking good!" Taehyung suddenly smiles on seeing his mom. He takes her hand and pecks it. Mrs Jeon playfully smacks his arm. Taehyung giggles and intertwines their arms, locking them together.

"Koo, baby. Are you okay?" She asks, caressing Jungkook's cheek with her free hand.

"I'm nervous. A lot. I just want this dinner to go well." Jungkook smiles, taking his mother's hand in his.

"Everything will be fine. Where is Joon?" Mrs Jeon asks, looking around.

"He went to pick up Hoseok and Jimin. He swears they are not dating, but he stares at Hoseok like he has married him already." Taehyung rolls his eyes as Mrs Jeon chuckles.

"Ma'am." One of the house helps bows at them.
"They have arrived." She says, and turns to walk away after conveying the message.
Taehyung groans and slaps his face.

"Can't we just... I don't know...tell them there are snakes around so they would go running away from this event?"

"Tae." Mrs Jeon sternly stares at her son who shrugs.

"What? It's a good idea."

"They have grown so tall!" Their eldest aunt coos, squishing Taehyung's cheeks who forces a smile, but deep down, he wants to rip off her hands.

Mrs Jeon nervously laughs, pulling Taehyung to her side before he does something crazy...or says something crazy.

"Well, we came with our family friend's daughters." She stares at the three young ladies who smile shyly and step forward. Mrs Jeon smiles and welcomes them.

"My name is Rina. The eldest daughter." She charmingly smiles her eyes darting to Jungkook.

"I am Hana. Nice to meet you." She grins, hugging Mrs Jeon who smiles back just as charmingly.
