Wattpad/Book Moments

Here are some moments that's happened to me while I was reading or I was on Wattpad. I'm sure you've experienced some of these moments too.

-That moment when you read something hilarious in public and you start laughing so hard and people start looking at you weirdly. 

-That moment when you start developing a crush on a fictional character.

-When the characters in the story are doing something cute and you start smiling at your phone and you parents ask,"Who are you texting?"

-When you try explaining to your parents that  you're actually reading but they don't believe you.

Dad: Who are you texting that making you smile so much?

Me: I'm actually reading.

Dad: Really? Well read the sentence you're on.

Me: *looks down at phone* They were now kissing furiously, grinding down on each other, hands sliding all over.  Okay, you caught me. I'm actually texting Patricia.

The thing is, I don't even know anyone named Patricia.

Well except for Patricia and Gertrude. Twaimz 

-When you start reading a really good book but it's not completed and the author hasn't updated in months.

-That moment when you have a really good plot for a story in your head but you're just too lazy to write it or you don't have time or both.

-That moment when you realized that you spent the entire day on Wattpad/ reading a book.

-When you're so obsessed with a book that you stay up all night reading it.

-When you really need to pee but you want to continue reading the book so you bring your device/book in the toilet with you and spend an hour on the toilet reading.

-That moment when a character does something embarrassing and you feel so sorry/embarrassed for him/her.

-When you finish a really good book and you don't know what to do with your life.

-That moment when you are so mad/upset at a character and you're like ,"I'm so done with this!" but you still continue reading.

-When a story has a really good plot but the grammar and spelling in horrible.

-When your library is full of really good books that you want to read but you just don't have time to read them.

-That moment when the author puts,"I'm not updating until I get dash number of votes/comments." And you really want them to update even if there is not enough votes/comments.

-That moment when nobody meets your standards because fictional characters have set the bar way too high.

I mean I'm not looking for prince charming to ride up to me on a horse but having a hot, smart boy who is funny and loyal falling in love with me doesn't sound too bad. Actually it doesn't sound bad at all.

-That moment when you're somewhere or on a trip and there's no wifi so you read all the books in your library.

-You know you're obsessed with a book when you cancel plans with your friends to continue reading your the book.

Plans? Friends? Ha! Like I have those. #foreveralone :)

-When you have over a hundred reads on your book but literally 5 votes.

-That moment when someone votes on your chapter. :D

-That moment when you're reading a borrowed book and there's a page missing or there's a big stain on it.

I hate when that happens!

-That moment when you hear someone say books are gross/boring/for nerds.

I hate it even more when I'm reading and that annoying person says that to my face.

-That moment when you have no money because you've spent it all on books.

-When you finish a book but the ending just doesn't seem right so you think of ten different ways of how it should have ended.

-When you have to re-read something because you were daydreaming the first time you read it.

-That moment when you have to return to your ordinary life after reading an amazing book.

-That moment when your favorite character dies and you feel like writing a letter to the author.

J.K Rowling... I looking at you.

-Don't you love that moment when the main character defeats the bad guy.

-That moment when a character you like insults a character you hate and you're like BURN! 

-When the nerdy/shy character finally comes out of his/her shell.

-That moment when you start shipping two characters so hard that you start dreaming about their future together.

-That moment when a book is so good that you want to finish reading it but you never want it to end.

-When you're trying to read but someone keeps on disturbing you.

Annoying person: What are you reading?

Me: A book.

Annoying person: I want to know what's it about.

Me: I want to know what's it about too but you won't shut up!

-When you start saying quotes from a book you read.

-That moment when you make a funny reference from a book but your friends don't get it.

-When you're reading something dirty and someone tries to read over your shoulder. 

*closes tab/puts device off/closes book* *looks over at person* "Can I help you?"

-That moment when you almost have a heart attack because the plot twist is that epic.
