Chapter 24

"Uh We uh kinda... You know...got arrested"

" How the hell did you get arrested!!" I yelled as I walked outside. I didn't wanna wake Grace. Megan followed me and I out it on speaker.

" We had some drugs..." Nate said.

"I swear you too ate like dumb and dumber" Megan's said grabbing my phone. She put it on mute and started talking to me.

"Lets prank them and say we can't pick them up" Megan said. I smiled and nodded. We took it off of mute.

"We can't Grace is sick" Megan said

" Please it's fucking scary here" Sam said

" Serves you right for getting arrested" I said

" Wasn't our fault" Nate said

" Who's fault was it nate!! The ghosts fault?" Megan said. She was  pissed and I bet I know why. Grace.

"Look we didn't have any drugs with us.. Well as we thought I think someone put it in our pockets" Sam said. I didn't know if I should believe them.

"Whatever" I said and hung up. We got dressed and drove to jail.

"Stay with Grace I got them" She nodded. I walked inside.

"May I help you?" Asked a nice women

"Um I'm here to bail out Samuel Wilkinson and Nathan Maloley" I answered

"Bail is 1000. $500 dollars for each" I nodded and gave her the money then filled out the paperwork.

"Bring Samuel Wilkinson and Nathan Maloley" The lady said just in the intercom. She handed me the box with there phones, Wallets, And Sam's keys. I grabbed the items as they walked out. I Turned my body and walked out the door but before I said "Thank you" To the lady. I Opened the car door and got in as the boys go in the back. I handed them there stuff then drove off.

"Look-" Sam started

"Don't" Megan cut him off.

She was pissed at him. She doesn't want Grace to go up with a drug addict father who parties all the time. Sam's gets better and better each day but he's not fully done with parties, drinking and drugs. She just wants grace to have a good life with both parents supporting her and I 100% Agree with her. And not Because shes my best friend.. because she's right. We are arrived home and we all walked inside.

"Can I talk to you?" Nate asked

"Nate..."

"Its important" He said. I sighed and nodded. We walked to our room and he closed the door and locked it.

"Baby I think skylar and her brother framed us" He said

"What?" I said confused

"We were out and we saw them and skylar was trying to get all on me and Sam and we kept pushing her off and she might have slipped it in there" He said.

" Nate..."

"I'm not lying ok!" As he stood up

"I never said you were" I said

"You don't believe me or else you wouldn't have just said my name!" He said as he threw an outfit in a bag and his tooth brush, phone charger, and lap top with the charger.

"Where are you going?" I asked

"Away from you" He said

"Look nate it's not that I don't believe you.. It's that we need evidence"

"Wow" He said as we walked to the living room to see Sam leaving

"Yo Sam wait I'm coming" Nate said to Sam. He nodded and they both left.

I Signed and locked up. I was done crying over nate. He's not gonna mske me sad anymore. He wasn't gonna bring me down. I'm stronger than that.. Mentally and physically. I layed in my bed thinking things over. Skylar could have something to do with this.. Her brother did say this wasn't the last of them and so did skylar. I wasn't scared just worried Becsuse she got the boys arrested who knows what else she's capable of. I sighed and fell asleep not worrying anymore.

Sam's pov (Before they left)

"Skylar did it!" I said "She was trying to get all over me and nate but we kept pushing her off and-" Megan cut me off

"Don't blame you getting caught on someone else! You got arrested because you had drugs! I'm pissed because you don't care Sam! You don't care about me, You don't care about Grace! You don't fucking care about our family!" She yelled

"I can't believe you fucking said that! I care about you both and you fucking know that!!" I yelled as I got up and packed my stuff.

"You sure don't act like it! When's the last time we hung out? When's the last time we went out as a family? Sam we are drifting away!!" She yelled

"I Have to mske music! We have to have money! It doesn't grow on trees!!" I said.

"Your job comes before us?" Megan asked

"No! I need money to have a family!" I said

"Then make time or don't be apart of graces life"

"I will be apart of my daughter's life no matter what!"

"Then be apart Sam!!" Megan yelled. I couldn't fucking take it anymore. I walked out and was about to leave when I heard nate say wait. I turned around to see him with a bag. Guess him and Lindsay are fighting. I nodded then we left. I drove to Johnson's he said we were always welcome. Nate called Johnson and he said we could come. We walked in and told them what happened. They believed us.. Skylar is crazy! Now all we need is a plan to catch her.
