Within the next hour, a knock sounded on our hotel door. Kath opened the door since she was on her way out for a run. "Hey Will. Nice shirt." He did look nice in a pair of dark wash jeans and a gray Superman tee, a blue cardigan finishing his look. "Maybe you can cheer this one up; she's been mopey for hours now."

Will looked over in my direction, brown eyes meeting mine. I offered a weak smile and wave. He turned back to Kathryn, noticing her Nike running shorts and a matching Nike tee. "Where are you off to?"

"Going for a run around the city with Colm." She patted him on his shoulder. "I'll take you out for a Guinness if you can get her out of this mood." Winking, she smiled and walked out of the door just as Will was about to protest, the door closing as he opened his mouth.

Chuckling, I shook my head. "It's no use. You can't talk sense into that one."

The brunette Brit looked back at me, raising an eyebrow. "So what's the matter with you, Lex?"

I shook my head, frowning. "I really don't want to talk about it, Will." I focused my attention on the show I was watching on my laptop. Will sighed audibly, and I watched him take off his cardigan from the corner of my eye. After tossing it on the chair next to the door, he slid off his shoes and came to sit beside me on the bed.

"What are we watching?" He scooted closer to me, arm brushing against mine.

Trying to ignore the way this contact made my heart race, I didn't look away from the screen. "Merlin. You know the one that BBC cancelled after the fifth season?"

Will hummed in response. "Oh yeah. I was so miffed when they announced that."

I nodded. "I know, me too. Especially since Arthur was my favorite."

"Really?" Will turned a surprised face to me. "He was such a jerk to Merlin most of the time."

I broke my focus on the computer screen to turn to look at him. "But that's just their relationship. Arthur has a good heart."

Will nodded. "True." His eyes searched my face. "Are you sure you don't want to talk about what happened? I can tell that it's eating you up on the inside."

He was right; it was eating me up on the inside. I didn't want to be jealous or upset that Tom had a woman in his life, but I couldn't help how I felt about him. And Will? There was something about him I was attracted to, though it wasn't like what I felt with Tom.

"You explain everything over dinner. How does that sound?" Will looked at me hopefully, lip poked out slightly.

I rolled my eyes, allowing the corner of my lip to quirk up. "How about dinner and I explain everything when we get back?"

Will jumped up, grinning. "Deal."

The walk to McDonald's went by faster than I thought and soon Will and I were standing in line. I perused the menu, debating between a burger and chicken. Bumping my shoulder with his arm, Will asked, "What are you ordering?"

I sighed, my decision still not made. "I can't decide between the burger and chicken nuggets."

"I was thinking about getting chicken nuggets, too. Why don't we just get the twenty count and share? With a large fry on the side if you want." He chuckled at my pensive expression. "This is not a life decision, Lex. You can say no and still be perfectly fine."

Smiling at his remark, I nodded. "I'm fine with that plan." I pulled my wallet from my purse and took out a 5 pound note.

Will shook his head, pushing the money away. "No, this is my treat."
