Dmitri's P.OV

When I woke up the room was still dark the only light came from the alarm clock. What time was it? The sun hasn't risen and the moon hadn't set.

How long did I sleep? It seems like eternity, but it looks like I had only slept for a few minutes. The moon looked fuller now that when i woke up last. I rolled over in Jay's arms and looked at the digital clock.

02:44 flashed brightly in neon blue lights across the screen. I almost slept twenty-four hours. My body swiveled to look over at Jay's peaceful face. I slid out of bed and headed to the kitchen

"Where are you going," I heard Jay's voice cut through the air. My body shifted to turn back and face him. I noticed that he sat up and ran a hand through his messy hair. I could see the moon shine in to light up the whites of his eyes.

"I'm going to get food. I haven't eaten today," I said walking back over to the side of the bed.

"Then I'll come with you, I'm kind of hungry now too," he said swinging his legs over the edge of the bed.

"Alright, but aren't you going to put on clothes," I asked walking over to the closet. I was going to bring him his pants.

"Are you going to put on pants," Jay retorted back. I could hear the smile grow on his face.

"Bring your ass." I said rolling my eyes as I walked over and flung open the door.

I washed my hands and looked in the fridge. A growling stomach at three AM seemed more needy than one at 2 PM. I took the leftover bulgogi out of the fridge and tossed it in the microwave before taking out the kimchi and radish Jay's mom made us along with two heads of romaine lettuce. I started breaking it apart before Jay say something.

"If you don't want leftovers I'll make something else for you," Jay said holding my waist. I took a seat on the opposite counter and watched him come over and stand between my legs.

I smiled at him and he still had his hands on both of my thighs. I'm not sure what he was going to do. I was either going to be hugged or punked. Two things that were very different and will have two very different outbursts from me.

My eyes scoured his face. I searched for a sign, any sign, that might lead me to what he wanted me to do. His head tilted slightly to the left as he leaned in closely. He wanted a kiss?

I felt his hand on the back of my head pulling towards him. My arms draped onto his shoulders as I leaned into him.

"You guys are getting food too? I thought I was the only one who wanted food at O'Dark thirty," I heard the sleepy man say with his voice cutting through every bit of tension. Jay's head snapped towards ChaCha and we started I stared in bewilderment. This man has horrible timing.

"Why didn't you tell me earlier you brought work home," I told Jay smiling as I turned to face him slowly.

"Does the excuse count if I say 'you were sleep, and I didn't want to wake you up'", he said chuckling a bit. His smile became nervous quickly.

"No, you said it was an excuse and you could have nudged me awake. A simple 'hey ChaCha's here and I need you to put on pants' would suffice," I told him pinching the bridge of his nose with a pout.

"I'm sorry, alright next time I'll text you and say that someone's coming over," he said in a nasally tone trying to hug me.

"No, call me before y'all get here. I deserve to know when you're bringing people into our house! Also, sometimes I just want to hear your voice and know that you're alive," I said pushing him away a little.

"You are such a big baby," he said laughing and resting his hands back on my thighs.

"Yeah well you like being held more than me. Don't even play this game Jay. I'm right next to the sink I will hose you down," I said turning on the water.

"Woah, scoot away from the hose and no one gets hurt. I'm sorry it had to come to this," ChaCha said pulling out a water gun.

"Woah ChaCha put down the super soaker," I told him with my hands raised in surrender. Who brings a water gun to someone else's house knowing they have suede furniture! I mean who!

With a shot at Jay and I, he got my shirt and thighs were wet

"Oh you're freaking dead now," I said whipping my arm around to grab the hose. When I felt the absence I looked at Jay and saw it in his hand.

"Don't you dare," I told him in a warning. About a second later I got a face full of water. I hopped of the counter and ran to the front door. I heard Jay spray ChaCha as I made my escape out onto the front lawn.

I honestly came out here to have a good time and I feel so attacked right now.

I heard them walk onto the porch and yell for me to come out. Don't they know we have neighbors? Either way I'm still getting revenge.

I ran to the side of the house and turned on the hose. As I heard their feet slap the pavement and I aimed the hose in their direction.

"Hey Dmitri where'd you go," I heard Jay yelling from the other side of the house.

"We were just playing. I didn't mean for you to get soaked." ChaCha yelled.

"It's a little about that a little about you bringing a water gun to someone's house that has seude couches. So screw both of you," I yelled as I sprayed ChaCha in the face. Jay being himself decided a barrel roll would get him out of trouble.

I chased him with the hose through the yard. Eventually I got tired and sat down. This man had the energy of a three year-old. I saw him stand up and walk over to me. Grass stains covered his tank top and shorts.

"Do you know how much detergent I'm going to need to wash those stains out," I asked looking up at him. He crouched down to me smiling.

"You sound like my mom. Please don't nag me," he said hugging me.

"But your mom doesn't deal with a 3 AM water fight does she?" I said pecking his lips. ChaCha's distant sounds of disgust were heard. Jay's smile was bright in the moonlight.

I pointed the hose at his back and pressed the grip. The water pounding on his back was hard enough for him to fall out.

When I stopped Jay covered his back and fell on the ground. I just noticed that the hose was on pressure wash. The hose fell out of my hand when I hugged him.

"Oh my gosh Jay I'm sorry. I forgot it was on pressure wash," I said hugging him and planting kisses all over his face.

After a few minutes, we got up and sat on the porch. All of us were tired. Everyone got sprayed today and we're all soaked.

"You both know if I wake up in pain I'm suing right," ChaCha said laughing a little.

"It would cost less than feeding you," I said shrugging my shoulders and laughing.

"She's right. You eat a car note worth of food at our house every month. It would be cheaper for you to sue us," Jay said patting Chacha's back.

Today has had more excitement packed into one hour than I've had in an entire week of school. I love being in a house of my own, with a fiancè of my own. In two years he'll be my husband...
