This tale will be written in arcs. Not to prolong it, but because you wouldn't believe the amount of ludicrous happenings that are yet to come.
A wedding is taking place in Tekonn. Not just any wedding. A dreadfully dull wedding, in Sora's opinion.
Meet Sora Kitsune, aka, the bride. Have you ever thought about your own wedding day? Would it not be, to marry someone you hold close to your heart? Well, her dreams were crushed. Sora was dreadfully disheartened because she must marry the Prince of the Tekonn Kingdom, or, Tomoe Yamada. She was to marry Tomoe so her father could pay off a debt that was owed to the royal family, that she wasn't allowed to know anything about!
Our story begins at the cathedral with Sora standing to the left of the Groom, as a minister says a few words about the marriage and how important it is to the kingdom.

"We stand here, with our beloved.." I held back a sigh, trying my hardest to pay attention to what the minister had to say.
This was without a doubt the worst day of my life. Marriage is dull. Churches, cathedrals, whatever we're in, is loathsome. Today feels so depressing and dull, I'll have to pick up a thesaurus to think of more words that describe how bored I feel. "Dull" simply won't do.
Father always says that thinking of the steps that lead you to your problems is a good way to solving them. Let's see if that works. My name is Sora. I'm only 15 years old. I'm going to marry ignorant Tomoe. Stupid, ignorant, princely Tomoe. The same Tomoe who always teases me because of my eyes. We've known each other for years, besides, it's not like I can ignore his honey-blonde hair, dashing smile, and eyes that seemed to have a shade of pure green, much like the meadows of flowers at home, with a splash of the ocean, something I haven't seen in such a long time...
How distasteful.
Every girl in Tekonn swoons at his name. Well, who wouldn't want to marry a Prince? Me. My friends constantly say, "Oh, Sora! Isn't he wonderful? The way his smile brightens the sky...he's so dreamy!" . Well, if only they knew we grew up together. If only they knew, he's such a royal pain. I always respond the same way to my friends, "If you say so." The only reason I'd imagine people loved him so much is because of his charming looks. In every book I've read, I hear the same thing, 'The eyes are the windows to the soul'. Well, although he had eyes that glistened like an untarnished emerald, his soul wasn't looking as innocent as his appearance set him out to be.
At least I know I'm not the only one who's concerned about the justification of this dire wedding. You don't need to be a machine to figure out that Tomoe's bored. His current expression was most relatable to a child who's fidgeting uncomfortably as their mother hurriedly tries to take pictures. It was hilarious. Without realizing it, my disapproving frown changed to a smile at the sight. Tomoe only glared back with annoyance.
