Glass shatters, and an evil cackle fills the room. When seen from a certain angle, the broken glass forms a butterfly.
"Fools.. they think they can run." a deep, raspy voice muttered.
The location of the voice was difficult to pinpoint. A signature, sinister smile plastered on the mysterious character's face. With a tone of impatience, he scans the room.
"Damn. Where could that wretched gem be?" His gaze rests on a young girl, a bride.
Certainly too young to be married. Though, something was off about her. He looks to the out-of-place ring on her finger, and his expression immediately changed to frustration, yet his villainous smile remained.
"I found you, Chaos." the disembodied voice uttered silently.
Their thoughts were interrupted when he spots a young man, definitely recognizable as the prince of the fair kingdom. He scoffed.
"So, it begins.." he utters with a raised hand--
a signal for a greater scheme..
