Jungkook had just got home and it hadn't been two minutes, and he was already driving to the hospital at full speed. Because you're seated next to him on the passenger seat, groaning and letting out occasional screams. The grip you have on the grab handles is so tight along with the seat, that it is killing you.

Jungkook has no time to breathe, he's driving so fast with both his hands on the wheel, he turns to glance at you every 5 seconds and attempts to hold your hand but he needs to focus on the road so can make it on time. "Baby, we're almost here."

The night Jungkook arrived home, he did not expect to be sleeping on the hospital couch. It wasn't on the plan and it was most definitely not in any of your thoughts. The ice cream has surely melted to a milkshake since he left it on the coffee table and Bam...oh the poor boy sits by the doorstep with his face on his paws as he waits for his owners so desperately. His eyes filled with worry, they looked droopier than ever.

Jungkook was not prepared for the delivery, he didn't know what to expect, of course, he knew it was painful and difficult but.....

He'd never in his life thought it was gonna be a hell of an experience. He was preparing himself for the contractions, so he could take you to the hospital when you felt anything, then let you feel the pain gradually as he sat on the couch or help you with an exercise ball so the delivery could be better but none of that happened because your water had burst way before and now the contractions were already extreme.

Watching you cry, so much, panting for air and screaming in pain was difficult for him to watch. At a point, he thought he was gonna pass out but he didn't, he would never let you go through this all alone without him being beside you. You needed him and he needed to hold your hand, it's the bare minimum.

It's the least thing he could do for you, stay with you, hold your hand, encourage you, and cry with you. the grip you had on his hand was so tight but he couldn't feel it because he was so caught up in the moment that he would do anything to ease your pain, anything.

"come on, my love. she's almost here, one more push, one more for us, baby." he would repeat countless times as he caressed your hair. The nurses asked Jungkook to stand with them and watch the little one pop out but he didn't care, because he had to stay with you.

You're more important, fuck it you're the most important. Every scream you let out hurt Jungkook's heart and broke it into pieces.

You are in so much pain and he can't stand this, each tear that leaves your eyes falls on the back of his palm and it takes everything in him to not break down. He loves you so much, he can't watch this anymore, all he wants to do is make you breathe, but he stays strong, doesn't let out a tear, he only encourages you more and it helps you.

His voice cracks each time he speaks, each time he says "Come on my love, come on." as he places kisses on your hand. For a second you thought you might die, you felt it so deep in your heart like ..... you can't do this anymore, it hurts, so much. You can't, not anymore.

You don't hear the nurses, you don't hear Jungkook anymore, it's like their voices are fading out, you're losing your consciousness, you've given up.

The nurses begin to panic at the amount of blood you've lost but they don't wanna tell you that, they know you'll panic, you'll forget everything. Your head hurts, you can't scream anymore, the pain overpowers you and you can't do it anymore. "j-jungkook-" "Yes my love, tell me." he pants as he responds in a second. "i-i love you- s-so so much-"

you mutter in between screams and muffled groans. This makes him burst into tears as his grip on your hand gets tighter.
