Chapter 4

Writers POV

The week by faster then you expected. It was already Friday and schools last bell rang. You walked down the halls in your white shirt and black leather jacket. You kept adjusting the black hair band as you walked down the halls. You heard Maka and turned to see her running down the hall.

Your POV

"(Y/n)!" Maka ran up to you and stopped.

"What is Maka?"

"I need a ride home today."

"Why what's wrong?"

"Soul has soccer practice so he won't be leaving for a couple hours."

"My brother... Plays soccer?" She nodded her head rapidly. "Where's the field?" She looked at me like I was crazy and then walked towards where she came from. I followed her to a vast and open field.

"Here we are, can we go home?"

"No. I want to watch my brother fail."

"Bu..." I shoved a book in her chest.

"Here book worm, and don't worry I have many more in bag."

"Thanks!" She walked over to the bleachers and I sat down next to her. Soul,Star, and Kid walked out from the locker rooms and noticed us there in the bench. Star instantly ran over to the bleachers.

"Hey bae. Here to watch me?"

"Baka. No I'm actually here to watch my bro fail." He looked down in disappointment, he leaned in really close and I just leaned back out of his way.

"Want to me to do that for you goddess?" He smirked at me. I glared at him and scoffed.

"Hey Star let's get this over with!" Soul called from the center of the field.

"You like him don't you." I looked over at Maka and saw the snear she gave me.

"No." She set the book down and sat really close to me. I scooted away a little but ended up falling off. Expecting to feel the ground I closed my eyes in embarrassment, but instead of hard ground I felt strong arms.

"Got to be more careful goddess." I opened my eyes to see Star. I instantly started to blush as I saw how he was holding me. He noticed and put me down a blush apparent on his checks.

"Thanks Star." I looked down at my feet and shifted nervously. I saw him put his hand behind head and scratch an imaginary itch.

"No problem." Soul jogged over and noticed our blush. He instantly grabbed Stars collar and threw him into the bleachers still holding him.

"What did you do to her?"

"Nothing Soul, I'm fine." He tightened his grip on Star.

"Why are you blushing?"

"What? I can't be flustered or embarrassed? Who told you control me Baka!" I punched his gut and he doubled over letting go of Star.

"Sorry." Soul coughed out.

"That's more like it." I said in triumph. I walked off to see Kid and Maka talking. I started walking away from them slowly but they noticed me.

"(Y/n). Let's go to the movies after where done here." Maka suggested.

"Okay." I walked to Serenity noticing Star following me. "What do you want Star." He walked in front of me making me pause.

"I wanted to talk with you."

"Look okay I'm kinda busy..."

"Doing what?"

"Leaving." I walked around him and finally arrived at my bike. I felt his arms on my waist as he pulled me into him.

"Don't leave me." I looked over my shoulder at him to see his eyes pleading. He kissed my shoulder gently. "Please." He said resting his head on my shoulder.

"Look I have to go get ready to go to the movies." He turned me around and made me look into his eyes.

"With who?" His voice was stern and I almost laughed at his jealousy.

"Jealous much?" He nodded his head and looked down in shame as Maka came running over.

"Heyyy... Am I interrupting."

"No what do you need Maka." I replied turning towards her.

"Well you know how I suggested we go to the movies." I nodded my head at what she was getting at." Well Kid wants to come and so does Soul and I believe Kid and Soul want to take Star. Is that okay?"

"I don't see why not. After all this isn't my invitation."

"Yes! Oh and by the way we are also having a lock down at Kids. Okay?"

"Okay." She started running off. "Wait Maka! I don't... No where anything is..." I mumbled the last of the words knowing Maka wasn't going to be able to hear me.

"Its okay. I'll help you." I looked back at Star who still had his jersey on.

"Go get ready and let's go." He jumped in the air with a victory dance and ran off. I sat on Serenity waiting for the ego freak to return. He did a short while later. "Took you long enough."

I turned the key and Serenity started up quickly and began to pur as she warmed up. He looked at me like I was insane. What is with everyone and those looks. He got on and I started to drive off towards Souls and Makas apartment.

When we arrived I walked in to the apartment with Star behind me. I walked to the couch and grabbed a few clothes for the night packing them into the Bike bag.

"You sleep on the couch?"

"Yeah. I don't want to intrude to much. I mean, I will find my own place soon... I hope."

"You know if you ever need a place to stay me and Tsubaki would be glad to have you."

"Thanks Star... Blaire what did you do with my damn clothes!" Blaire walked out if Souls room.

"I upgraded them. Seems as though the other ones you had where a bit, uncomfortable."

"And you call this comfortable?" I asked her holding up a nearly see through shirt and shorts.

"Yes!"

"Damn you stupid cat." I packed the rest of the clothes and walked out the door. Strapping the bag down I got on with Star. He gave me directions and off to the movies we where.
