Chapter 3

I lock the door behind us and we set off into the city. I feel the breeze in my hair. It feels so nice. I feel free, like a bird, soaring through the city. As we are skating I notice Will slows down to come skate next to me. I look over at him and he smiles at me. I look down and start blushing. Shit he's so fucking adorable what do I do. I look up and smile at him.
Will looks at my hand and takes it. Woah woah woah, what is he doing? We just met what the hell. I don't let go of his hand because it's nice. We stop at a crosswalk and wait to cross the street. "You're hands are soft." I tell Will. I immediately regret saying it. "Oh thanks." He says and laughs at my comment. I see some of our friends turn around and I immediately let go of his hand. "Uhm what were you guys doing?" Kara asks. "What uh nothing" I say. "Look we can cross the street now" I say starting to walk.
We start skating again rolling past shops. I'm not next to will anymore so I try to focus on skating and the city and the shops. That was until I started daydreaming.
I'm at the waterfall. Sitting on the rocky area. I see a shadow behind me. I turn around to see-
I'm snapped back into reality when I'm almost hit by a car. I freak out and start skating all over the place. Cars stop, I hear tires screeching on the rode. Then I trip and fall of my penny board. I get up and my face turns red. "What the hell happened Kayla?" Taylor asked. "There was a bug that flew in my face and I freaked out." I lie. My knee hurts so I look down and see it bleeding. "Woah dude your knee" drew says pointing at my knee. "Oh it's fine" I say, and take off skating.
Oh my gosh what is wrong with me. This is so embarrassing, Will probably thinks I'm some stupid clumsy girl. Ugh, sometimes I wish I could rewind and go back.
Will is skating in back alone, while I'm in the front. I would slow down but then people would think something is up. Why would Will like me? Why wouldn't he go for someone else?
"Anyone want some Jamba Juice?" I ask. "MEEEEEEEEEE!" I hear Kara and Emily say at the same time. We walk in and I hold the door for everyone. Will is the last one to walk in and he stops. "Why didn't you tell them we were holding hands?" He asks. "I don't know, it's just that we just met" I tell him. I walk up to the counter. "I'll have a peach pleasure smoothie" I say to the guy taking our orders. Everyone else orders and I hand the guy my credit card. "Wait what are you doing?" Will asks. "I'm paying" I say. "No no no, I'll pay" he says back. "Nah it's okay I can pay handing the credit card to the guy working the counter. "Thank you! Have a great day." I say to him and we take our drinks.
We walk down the sidewalk passing by shops and sipping our drinks. I'm going to miss this city, and my friends, and will.
~~~~~~~ magically they are back at karas house~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Today was fun!" I say. "Yeah, do you guys want to watch a movie maybe?" Kara asks. "Yeah" they all say. "OOO MAYBE WE CAN WATCH MEAN GIRLS" Taylor suggests. "Okay" I say laughing. I go to Netflix and play the movie. "I'll go make popcorn" I say.
I go to the kitchen and see will in there. Oh fuck, why does he have to be in here right now. I grab the bag of popcorn and put it in the microwave. "So, today was fun" I say to will. Today was fun? Really? Oh my gosh I'm so awkward. "Yeah I had a lot of fun" will said.
I hear the microwave beep and take the bag of popcorn and go to the couch. I open it and pass the bag around to everyone. Then will sits next to me. I scoot over a little bit, then play the movie. Drew, Taylor and Emily all pass out half way through the movie. Will puts his arm around me. I look up at him and rest my head on his shoulders and fall asleep.
