Chapter Nine

Jacks Pov

I wake up in the middle of Burgess. Why am I here?

Pitch is at the workshop! He kicked out all of the guardian's, that booty face >:(

I threw a snowglobe onto the ground and stepped thru, just in time to see me? And Elsa? W-Wait, are they fighting? Everything slows down as Elsa is thrown across the room. I look up to see me floating in the air.

"Hey!" I yelled and blasted ice at him, making him turn to dust. I run to Elsa and prop her up onto my lap. I look forward to see pitch on his knees and his head down.

"M-My sister is stronger than expected" I laughed lightly "Protect her Jack, there is a greater evil than me. It's Dark Manny" I gasped (Didn't see that coming eh?) How is that possible!? Manny is purely light!

"Oh frost boy, when he died, there was hatred in his heart, vengeance. And he won't stop until Elsa and I are dead. You see, since we're brother and sister, dark Manny will think we are both evil, so he'll kill both of us. Getting hurt by me is one thing, getting hurt AND killed by dark Manny is a whole different thing" he looked up at me "I will help you contain or kill him. It won't be easy since he knows everything about us" he stood up and brushed his dress off "She's not dead, just unconscious. The curse has been lifted. She will wake up at dawn, and trust me frost, I care for her just as much as you. I wasn't always like this" and with that, he left.

"So he does care?" I heard a light voice whisper. I look down to find Elsa's eyes opened "T-The curse is gone! He said something about the guardian's?"

"Yes, he's helping us do something" I whispered and brushed her bangs off of her face.

"My dad is returning, but this time as dark Manny. I know, he told me while I was asleep and protecting the workshop. We have to kill him. Containing him won't do anything" she whispered lightly. I saw a tear slide down her cheek. I wiped it away with the back of my finger "I-I can't kill him Jack"

I felt terrible for her right now, the girl I-I..... I love... I love her? I have loved her since the day we met. That awful day she hurt her sister (In my story, she hurt Anna on her coronation day by revealing her powers and cutting Anna's arm) . She didn't see me back then, so she wouldn't remember me.

"You don't have to. I will protect you, I won't let you near him until it's done. I promise" I whispered, brushing her cheek.

I slowly moved towards her. I cupped her cheek and kissed her softly.

Elsa's pov~

He kissed me. I kissed him back, putting my arms around his neck. He stopped and put his head against mine "I have been waiting to do that since we met" He whispered and I giggled. I pulled him closer and kissed him lightly, then hugged him. The thought of him being mine made me forget everything going on. I wish I could stay in this moment forever, but I can't.

I stood up and pulled Jack with me, he held me close and smiled. That smile.

A portal opened up and the guardian's walked through.

"Where have you guys been!?" Jack asked as we walked towards them. He still had his hand around my waist. Tooth saw it and smiled, she flew towards me and hugged me.

"I'm sorry for the way I treated you! I was just jealous that you had the attention of Jack here. But now I have bunny, so I'm happy now" she stepped back and smiled at me "Friends?" She held her hand towards me.

"Friends" I giggled and hugged her. I finally have a girl as a friend! Yay!

She walked us away from them and Jack looked at me with worried eyes. I smiled and nodded to calm him down, we were out of hearing range of the guardian's when she asked "Are you two official!?"

"I-I don't know. Hang on" I put my finger up "Yo Jacky boy! We official?" (NUHHH I'M KIDDING!! I put that in for comedic purposes)

"I-I don't know, I think" I tugged at my dress and looked down.

"Hey! It's okay! Bunny and I didn't know we were official until a week after! But Jack... Jacks different. You won't have to wait that long" She smiled and started walking us back to the guardian's. Jack looked at me and smiled. I walked to his side and hugged him, he put his arm back around my waist and tooth giggled. Bunny looked at tooth and smiled. She pointed towards us and bunny looked. He smiled and did a thumbs up towards me, which made me blush and look down smiling.

I was stuck in my thoughts when Jack tapped me.

"I-I'm sorry what?" I asked, looking up at north.

"We were just discussing the fact that you and Jack dating" he wiggled his eyebrows and smiled. I laughed and buried my face in jacks hoodie.

I heard his heartbeat quicken as I did. I smiled and turned back around.

"Have you told them about pitch?" I whispered to him.

"Yes, they agreed to let him help us. He's the one that knows more about dark magic" He said "But you are the only one who knows all of his powers" he looked down at me and frowned "that means you have to be there with us" he looked away.

Why!? I-I can't see my father get killed again! I can't just tell them what to look out for? I don-...

"I'm the only one that can stop him" I whispered. My dad and I have the same powers. I have to fight him power with power. What he does, I have to do.

"Elsa, I'm so sorry. I wish I could take you away, but you're the only one that can stop him" I backed away from him and bumped into north.

"J-Just let me calm myself down. I-I will be in my kingdom" I made a portal and teleported to the roof of the moon kingdom.

I walked towards the railing and looked out at the stars. I had dreamed that I ruled the moon and stars, but now that I am, I want to have my old life back. I want my father back, my sister back. I want my brother back. Before he became evil.
(This will be in the prequel if it ever comes out. Pitch and Elsa's past will be explained then)

I leaned on the railing and watched the stars twinkle, slowly brining a smile to my face. Oh how I miss my dad being beside me.

I heard something behind me. I turned around to see Jack standing there.

"Elsa. Y-You have to fight him alone"

Ermergersh what a short chapter! I'm sorry, I only had 30 minutes to write this to hit my deadline! I was busy all day D: I want to inform everyone that there will be no update next Thursday (August 6th) For it is my birthday! I will have a much longer chapter tomorrow night, so be expecting that.
I have dates that chapters 11-15 will be released since I have to work harder on those (I know I said this book was only going to be 15 chapters, but it might be from 15-19 chapters long)
Chapter 11 will be released August 3rd
Chapter 12- August 7th
Chapter 13- August 10
Question and your answers- August 11th
Chapter 14- August 12th-14th
Chapter 15- August 20th
Any chapters after that will be released when I feel they should be.
