Riccarda's POV

It's been a while since we last went to a restaurant. No special reasons, just like that, me and my daughter. Her name is Arianna, she is 16 and she loves eating out. So once in a while we go to her favorite restaurant to eat. But for now I have to make quick snacks for her, she must be hungry after getting home from school.

I made a readymade pasta for her. Soon the front door open and heard a loud "Mom! I'm home, and hungry!" I singed and called her "In the kitchen hon, I made pasta!" I heard the footsteps coming; and the chairs move so I know she sat down. Pouring the pasta in two bowls I hand her one and took one for myself, we ate as Aria tells me about her school.

".......and then they got detention." I start laughing at the end of the story. "They had that coming! Who in their right mind put a water balloon on the teacher's chair?!" I say while shaking my head. She kept on telling me about what happen as I laughed, God! Kids these days sure do hilarious things. Then after some time I spoke,"Well hon, let's get ready we have to go to eat out, at your favorite restaurant"

Her eyes lit up at the mention of her favorite restaurant. She jumped and went straight to her bedroom and I went to mine. After some time I got ready in my casual dress and waited for Aria, she didn't took long and my did she looked stunning, in her button up shirt, skinny jeans, as her hair is nicely tied in a high pony.

Now that we were ready I took my car keys and drive to the restaurant. It takes about 10-15 mins to reach there so to kill time I turn on the radio, and luckily it was our favorite song, so I and Aria sang it together.

Do you ever feel like a plastic bag

Drifting through the wind, wanting to start again?

Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin

Like a house of cards, one blow from caving in?

Do you ever feel already buried deep six feet under?

Screams but no one seems to hear a thing

Do you know that there's still a chance for you

'Cause there's a spark in you?

You just gotta ignite the light and let it shine

Just own the night like the 4th of July

'Cause, baby, you're a firework

Come on, show 'em what you're worth

Make 'em go, "Aah, aah, aah"

As you shoot across the sky-y-y

Baby, you're a firework

Come on, let your colours burst

Make 'em go, "Aah, aah, aah"

You're gonna leave 'em all in awe, awe, awe

You don't have to feel like a wasted space

You're original, cannot be replaced

If you only knew what the future holds

After a hurricane comes a rainbow

Maybe a reason why all the doors are closed

So you could open one that leads you to the perfect road

Like a lightning bolt, your heart will glow

And when it's time you'll know

You just gotta ignite the light and let it shine

Just own the night like the 4th of July
