Arianna's POV

----Back to the time during the meeting with Delbert----

After the meeting with Delbert ended there was another meeting mom had to go she asked me "Hun, do you want to come with me for the next meeting?" "Umm, no I think I'll pass" I said. After all I had to stay back and talk to David for my plan to work.

So she said, "Alright then," Then mom turned to Gino and Beatle and said "Beatle lets go, Gino you can go and rest as well." They both nodded and went ahead as I went the other direction where Delbert and David had gone.

My plan was simple, I was going to have a chat with Dave and then find out if he was gay or at least bi, and if he is then I could ask him a question or two about his likes or dislikes, I will give the info to Beatle, which will be a good boost start for him to ask Dave out.

It's a good plan eh?!

Well anyway, I jogged a little to catch up with them and then started walking with them. Delbert looks back and asks, "You are going in the same direction?" I said, "Yup" and we kept walking, and then he asked me, "So, how's everything going with you and your mom? Besides the situation caused with Big Jim?" "Fine, I guess?" I said. He just hummed. I don't know why he is asking me these questions. My main question is, what the hell does he want from mom? That he keeps perusing and annoying her.

So I asked him, "Hey, why do you always try to annoy my mom?" he snickers and say "because it's fun" I frown, "Oh ya? What's the fun when you end up getting a black eye and a bruise on your stomach?" I ask him. "Well, besides that part...." He says with a little painful expression, but then he smiles. "Well you shouldn't annoy her, if you keep up, then who knows next time you may end up with a bullet in your skull." I said. Even though I say this I don't really want my mom to do that, but I think it's too late anyway, never mind. He just laughs and says "awe, are you worried about me? So sweet of you, but don't worry, your mom would never do that, hopefully." he said the last part in whispered voice, oh boy, then he said "Besides, people do crazy things to get attention of the person they love, and I am definitely a crazy one."

I did a double take at this line; I stopped walking, like literally froze on the spot and said, "Wait! What? What do you mean? Did you really just said love, or did my ears hear it wrong? Love, as in 'fallen in love'? That love?" I asked he stops walking and looks at me as he smile a little amused and simply said "yes" and start walking again, "When the hell did this happen?!" I asked, now jogging to catch up with them again he said, "well, I thing ten years ago, may be longer."

I was mega shock! He said he loved mom for more than ten years?! Well he didn't seem like he was lying when he said that, but still! So many questions were now swimming in my mind, when did he fall in love, where, how? Does mom knows? I don't think so, then what does she thinks about him? Does she have any type of feeling for him? So many questions were in my mind, and I wanted to ask Delbert about it. When I was finally going to ask him I realize we were already near their room. Delbert straight went to his room to take a rest, and I lost my chance to ask, while Dave sat on the sofa and was reading some book.

I didn't know what to do, it seemed that there is a deeper relation between mom and Delbert which I had no idea bout, but I can't really do much, as my mission right now is to talk to Dave, get the info and give it to Beatle. So brought my mind back together and decided to focus on the task I was going to do right now, and think about it later.

I was also a little hungry so I went to the kitchen and got myself something to eat then went back to the room where Dave was sitting and reading his book.
