"Okay, miss the amount of money needed-"
"Yesssss, I know! Do you take checks?" I hiss to the stupid bimbo across the line. How hard is it to let me pay for her bail! Gah this is all so stupid! I have been calling the shots for so long that all I want to do is order the little twit to release Serrina.
"Yes we can take checks-" she started to reply but I cut her off again.
"Good the check will be there soon, and I want her released within the hour. Got it?"
"Um, yes I do. May I ask who this is? Because-" I hung up. God why was everyone so nosy. I took the money that a friend had given me out of my account, and gave it to a boy who I asked to do me a favor. Damn the bail was a lot to pay, good thing my friend was rich. I smiled, I hated them. I hated Ella and Carry and so forth. All of them, I hated them! They had all been excepted, Starr had excepted them all and not me. She didn't trust me! I have known her the longest, I have been so patient, but no longer. They will suffer.
"Miss, wa'da'yua wan me ta do?" The boy asked me. I had him put the cash on his mothers account, just so he could take it out in the form of a check. There I thought, no sign of me. Then I asked him to deliver the check to the cop, and told him the right name to say. After he walked out I gave him fifty bucks and waited. Sure enough Serrina came out, and I opened the door of my Chevy and pulled her in.
"Do you have the ankle bracelet?" I asked her.
"Yes" she said sadly. Smiling, I pulled her ankle up and set to work on the bracelet. Starr had unintentionally taught me some things. The bracelet beeped, and was set on a loop of her walking around and lying down. Cause it could only sense motion, and were she was. So I set the location as her home. And pulled the ankle bracelet off and threw it behind me. She smiled at me and said
"thanks."
"No problem, let's go kill some people." I say excitedly as I head for Starr's apartment. I hope that Liz and Barney are still there. As we sit at a red light Serrina leans over and hugs me. I wince and hug her back, my side was bitchin! But what hurt worst was that her damn shirt had gotten tangled with my belly button ring. And she didn't even notice she ripped it right of, well who cares anymore? No one. Except Serrina. I trust her.
