The suns bright rays shined in my face, waking me up. I was delirious for a moment until I realized where I was. My heart beat picked up, I thought what had happened was just a bad dream that Id wake up from. In my own bed, my own house. But I was wrong, this was real.
I struggled to crane my neck above the edge of the bed to see if my kidnapper was asleep. Sure enough he was, snoring loudly. My mouth was dry and I was dying to get that damn gag out of it. So, I puffed out my cheeks and used the little saliva I had to weaken the stick on the duct tape. After about 10 minutes of this, I was finally able to get both items off my face.
Then, with quite some frustration, I began nibbling on the tape binding my wrists. I was a quarter of my way to freedom when his snoring stopped and he began moving around. I froze in fear, listening for more signs of him waking up. He sat up on the bed and yawned, followed by a satisfying stretch. He dopily half smiled and greeted me with a "Good morning sunshine."
He seemed less threatening all of a sudden. The way the sun light hit his face gave him a friendly demeanor. Still I scowled. "Nothing is good about this morning." I retorted bitterly. He merely shook his head and looked down at the nibbled tape. "Hmm... seems like if I w-would've woken up any later you would've gotten away." He said in an almost innocent tone. "Seems like it." I replied feeling the disgust for him arise again.
He looked at me and pouted. "C'mon Mell, why y-you gotta be so spiteful??". I clenched my teeth. " One, don't call me Mell. Two, you kidnapped me!!!". He shrugged, before replying "Yeah, well its your fault for looking at me! If you never saw me I-I would have never had to k-kidnap you in the first place, the only other thing I could've done was kill you."
I felt frustrated, what was the point of holding me captive? "Why didn't you kill me and bring someone else down to "Slendys mansion"? What's the point of doing this?!" I questioned why I was even asking. He was just a crazy fanboy taking things too far, or so I thought.
He exhaled loudly. "Alright, s-so here's the deal. Slendy needs a new proxy to help pick up the slack of one of the others. So he sent me to find one. He told me if someone sees me I have to kill them." It was quiet for a moment, it all seemed so unreal. How could someone believe something like that was real? "Why didn't you kill me? Obviously I'm not "proxy" material. So why didn't you?". His face turned red before looking away shyly. I craned my neck towards him, wanting an answer. "Why didn't you kill me??" I asked again. He mumbled something I couldn't understand. "Why?!!"
"I couldn't."
