A whispering voice might not be heard but a crowd of the whispering voices can be loud.

A Brown haired man holding a dagger in between his shaking hands, standing in front of the guards after he just screamed his wife's name.

"Don't you dare"

The man said while stepping forward.

The two guards got their swords out and ready to fight.

Without wasting any time, since their king was watching quietly.

The both ran towards the mna, the first strike threw his dagger away while the second one got his right shoulder bleeding.

He fell down on both his knees, watching them walk back towards Elione who had a smiling face, with tears in her eyes.

She was glad they did not end up hurting her husband badly, and wished he would leave her behind and walk away.

But and amongst the crowds she heard a familiar voice screaming and calling out for her.

A brown haired little girl with the same emerald eyes as Elione, was trying to run away from the older lady who was holding her carefully.

"MOM"

She yelled.

That smile was wiped off very quickly.

Her daughter was about to witness something very horrible. The tragic ending of her mother.

The crowds were moved by the crying child yet no one was able to speak up for her or for her mother.

They knew that Elione was most likely just defending herself from their king who had no mercy.

The horses hooves were heard even through all of the noises. The riders jumped off their horses while all faces turned towards them.

"Is that the first prince?"

A lady's voice asked.

"Yes, Am Elmer"

The prince replied, while making his way through the crowds, followed by his friends.

"Hawk, the guards"

Elmer said.

The crying child's eyes were only pointed on her mother, when Elmer caught her off guard.

"Is that your mother?"

The prince asked.

Leo's eyes could not believe that the prince he has been looking for everywhere for nearly a year decided to come to him.

"Don't cry, it's alright, she will fine"

Elmer smiled wiping off those teary eyes.

He stepped outside the crowds heading towards the man who was still on his knees.

At the same moment, an arrow went right through one of the guards which caused him to fall down on the cold ground.

The second arrow did hit the second guard before he got to realise what just happened to his camarade.

"Are you alright?"

Elmer asked the man, while giving him a hand and helping him stand up.

"Let's go get her"

The prince said while walking towards Elione, followed by her speechless husband, who's pace suddenly became faster.

He ran past Elmer and walked up the same old wooden stair, took the rope off of his lovely crying wife and took her in his arms while he cried too.

The trainees were watching from the first row, admiring Elmer's bravery wishing they could join in but the prince did not allow them to get involved unless he says so.

So that if his plan goes down, they stay out of it.

"Long time no see, uncle Leo"

Elmer smiled looking up at the man who ruined his life a couple of times.

"If it isn't my one and only nephew"

The king replied, looking down at his pray which was wandering around freely.

"Call for Ivor, now"

The king said in a lower voice to the guard standing right beside him.

"Yes your majesty"

He replied before rushing on his way.

The king knew very well that he must not open that gate as it might get ugly if the people pick Elmer's side and break in with him.

The crowd kept only getting bigger as if all of Kardia gathered right by that palace wishing for something.

The end of their misery.

"Thank you, thank you very much"

The man said looking back at Elmer who smiled watching them go back to reunite with their daughter, wishing he was still young and so that a hug from his father could easily heal all of him.

"I see you're still so stubborn just like your dead father"

Leo smirked saying, while looking down towards the prince who stood alone in the middle.

Hawk stepped forward followed by Hawk to take place next to the first prince.

"Yes, my father knew how to rule therefore he was respected and loved by the same people who despise the royal family because of you"

Elmer replied, his sharp eyes looked serious while he tightened the grip of his hand.

He could not bear to hear another word about his father come out of Leo's mouth but no matter how hurt he was he remained calm.

Hawk put his hand on Elmer's shoulder to remind him that he was not alone.

Leo was not affected by those words knowing he still had the upper hand.

His eyes were pointed at the two men by the prince's side. Leo was able to recognize them very easily.

The hunter he trained from a young age and the child his older brother raised.

"You think you can start a war with two people and some villagers, I feel insulted"

The king laughed replying.

"I do not want you to drag anyone into this, this must be between me and you"

Elmer immediately replied.

He did not want to cause those innocent people anny pain, knowing how merciless Leo could be especially against the weakest ones.

But he also knew that Leo would never accept a duel and would rather get rid of him and everyone who supports him even if he loses half the population of his kingdom.

Some spilled blood in order to keep a crown and a throne.

"LEO"

Hawk's voice suddenly shouted, it did not only catch the king off guard but everyone else was pretty surprised.

Elmer looked towards his friend, ready to hear what he had to say.

"Do you remember me? I was brought into the palace by King Hiram"

He then asked.

Leo's disgusted expression was mixed up with madness while he replied.

"A nameless orphan raised by a king? What a joke"

Elmer interrupted, defending both his family member.

"My father was kind and Hawk is my brother"

The king's laugh was loud that it shocked the audience whether guards or villagers.

"Your father was weak"

Leo's smirking face said tons, he did look down on his own blood brother.

While Elmer tried his best to remain calm, Hawk's hands moved really fast.

It took him a few seconds to set eye on his target, and set that arrow free, aiming for no other than the evil man called Leo...
