Chapter 23

Nick POV

I heard a thud and saw Adonis on the floor with a gun shot wound to his head . He dropped dead to the floor . A girl came out from behind a door holding a gun .

"Nice job rach" said Emilia coming from the stairway

Just as she came out everyone ran towards her checking if she is okay

" I'm fine guys really, other that a few stab wounds and cuts I'm fine "

"How do u classify stab wounds as fine" said Eve and went to hug her .

It was sweet seeing how much they cared about eachother. Soon one by one everyone went and hugged her Micheal even cried a bit .

"Come on guys let's go, we gotta take her to a hospital" I said .

We slowly kept walking till we saw the van but just as we were about to enter we heard 2 gunshots.

One of the guards who were knocked out woke up and fired 2 shots .   One of them shot Emilia and one hit the van she was about to enter . Michael shot him right in the forehead causing him to die instantly. Emilia fell to the ground clutching her stomach .

Michael was telling her to stay awake while we were driving to the ER with Her . As soon as we reached she was  Immediately moved to the  OR . After hearing the news everyone came to the hospital .

Dad entered the hospital looking concerned but strangely mom and Elle were smirking . They were  trying to hide their smile but I noticed it . I looked around and saw that  Marcus has also seen it . He was looking at me shocked .

After a couple of hours the doctor came out of the OR  . He looked at us worried and said this

" You see what Emilia is suffering is not common  , She has malnutrition a lot of broken bones and bruises" ." I can see She hasn't slept in a while because her eyes have huge dark circles around them" .

"Keeping her awake is dangerous for her health so we might have to put her in a medical Induced Coma  , I suggest you quickly sign the approval sheet because her body is very weak right now ".

( FYI I don't know if all I said above is true so don't come at me )

Dad looked broken after what the doctor said. He always wanted to call Emilia back home . He always had a photo of him with her as a baby  in his wallet and would sometimes cry looking at it .

Dad quickly signed it and fell back into the chair clutching his forehead . Everyone was silent and stood there in the hall looking utterly defeated . Emilia's friends looked the most calm  between all of us . I saw Rayan go outside and make a phone call  . He later said something to Flinn and left .

TIME SKIP TO 7 DAYS LATER

It's been a week since Emilia has been in a Coma . She was taken to the ICU twice in a week because of complications. Her family's doing bad . Her brothers and father has been drinking and going to fight clubs to release the guilty and anger . Her mother and sister has been to the hospital onece in the 7 days she stayed here . Each time there was a new excuse .

Her brothers came in for their daily talk . They all come on one by one and talk to her . Me ,Nessa Rayan and Eve have been taking rounds on staying in her room cause we don't trust her family completely yet . Today is my round and now Micheal just went in to talk to her . After a few seconds I heard sounds coming from her room her monitor was beeping loudly and she was staring to take huge breaths  Micheal Immediately went to call the nurses . Just then the beeping in her room stopped
