Emilia tells her fam abt the mafia , how her mom and sis framed her and now she showed them her scars .
start of the chapter.
I took off my hoodie and sound of gasps and punches were heard .
My body had many scars . There were small cuts on my arms till my elbow. There was a long cut on my back . My skin was a bit blue on certain parts of my body and a few of my ribs were poking out . There were more on my leg but I didn't show them .
I felt weak . Even though I'm proud of my scars because they show the battles I fought I still disliked it . Now everyone looked at me as if I was broken . They looked at me in the worst possible way . They looked at me with pity . And I hated it . I HATED the fact that they looked at me like that , but I saw something else is some of their faces , Respect? Proud? I dont know .
"Oh honey who did this to you " said grandma with tears in her eyes . She came to hug me . Her hug was like a warm blanket you need on a winter night . I hugged her back I could feel her tears on my shoulder touching my skin .
Next it was my dad . He came and hugged me . So tight that I thought he was trying to kill me disguised at a hug . " I'm so sorry my dear that you had to go through that , I'm so sorry I'm a terrible father ". Said dad while crying
Soon one by one my brothers each joined the hug each one looking either mad or sad . The last one to come was marcus . He stood there with tears in his eyes that would fall any second now .he didn't come until Nick asked him to . When he did he started to apologise to me " I'm so sorry Emilia , I'm really sorry for being a trashy brother and saying things that I shouldn't have, please forgive me " he said while crying like a baby .
Soon the atmosphere got tense . Everyone started to make calls and Elle and mom were called into the room .
Just as they entered they saw me . I didn't wear the hoodie back on so they saw all my bruises. Elle smirked seeing the bruises but failed to cover it since everyone saw how she reacted.
"Mom why did you send Emilia away?" Asked marcus .
"Why would you ask me that , that too infront of elle". "You know what she did , And it was absolutely unacceptable " . Replied mom
"I'm asking what she did . Details mom details " .
"I entered the room and saw your sister stabbing elle with a knife"
"Is that so but the CCTV footage says otherwise". Said Emilia and just as she said elle's and mother's face turned ghostly pale
