NOTE: well I'm dumb, I have to go back and change Alyssa's and Sharon's ages to 21 so they'll be able to legally drink. And I think my irl friend saw my fanfic in an open tab lol oops

I grabbed my small handbag I brought with me as we got up from our seats. The band was alright, I'm not quite sure if I liked it. The theatrics were well done, I don't know how the singer could change outfits and props so quickly. Sharon seemed to have enjoyed it more than me.

"That was awesome! What do you think?" She asked.

"It was pretty good, I liked the stage setups and performances more than the singing." I turned to face Sharon, who had a saddened look on her face.

"You didn't like it?" She frowned.

We approached her car and stopped walking. "No, I didn't say that. I liked a few of their songs, like Cake and Sodomy and My Monkey."

"Sorry, I hoped you would really enjoy the show. I guess we have slightly different tastes."

I didn't like the concert at first, but later that night it began to grow on me after thinking about it. The singer was very intriguing, the way he was spastic and threw himself around the stage. The other members got a little crazy too. I would see them again, actually I'd love to see them in show again. There was a moment when I made eye contact with the singer, I guess he's Marilyn Manson since the band has the same name as the leader. His outfit was crazy and he wore so much makeup. I wonder what he actually looks like without it all on his face and in a normal set of clothes.

It was the weekend. There wasn't anything scheduled so I took out my sketchbook and doodled. I've liked to draw since I was a little kid, it was my way of relaxing and getting things out. I haven't drawn since I was back at my ex's house. Yes, I drew back then, mostly when he wasn't home. I did it to get my feelings out, so of course a lot of my pieces were intense or graphic. It isn't often that I look back at them unless I'm in a mood. Speaking of my ex, I got a call from an unknown number three times today. I couldn't remember my ex's or my friends numbers because they were all set up as contacts, and I barely ever looked at their numbers. I really hope it wasn't him, how the hell could he have found me anyway?

There was a knock at my bedroom door. Sharon poked her head in. "I'm going out tonight, want to join me?"

"It's something to do. Where to?"

"I was thinking of this hotspot downtown. I hear good things about it."

"Hold on, give me 15 minutes to get ready." I jumped out of my seat and to my wardrobe. I pulled out a dressy shirt and some really nice jeans. I put on some makeup and accessories. Then joined Sharon in her car.

"Wow, you're quick, and you look nice tonight."

"Thanks." I giggled.

We made our way into a bar which I wouldn't have even noticed if she didn't point it out to me. It was this tiny place shoved between a convenience store and a comic book store. The heck? Anyway. We went inside. It was huge and there were tons of people in here. I had to get used to the loud music playing because it immediately hit my eardrums as I walked in. At least the bar was quieter and more away from the loudness.
