Chapter 10

I sat in his arms, not speaking one word. He silently stroked my hair as I slowly stopped sobbing. I looked up at him and he was staring at me. He gave me a sad smile.

"Are you okay?" He whispered, as he tucked my hair behind my air. I nodded. I looked back down and sneaked into his arms, a bit further. "Casey, we should probably leave now" He suggested and I sighed. He was right. 

1. It was freezing!

2. We kind of looked like stalkers, well...basically stalking the house.

3. It was kind of awkward...

And 4. It was freezing! Or did I already mention that?

Hmm...Well who cares. We seperated from each other and stood up. I was kind of disappointed in my self. I let my emotions overcome me. But I guess I couldn't help it. I sighed and started walking on the road...when....

I saw a bright light.

"CASEY! LOOK OUT!" Yelled Noah from behind me. I didn't know what was happening. Then I felt something hit me hard. Really hard. After that, everything went black...

[] Two weeks later []

My eyes fluttered open. I was on a bed. I looked down, I was in a gown. I glanced to the side when I saw Noah, in a chair asleep. Snoring.

SNGHHHHHH.....

SNGHHHHHH.....

I laughed. He looked so cute and unbelievebly...hot. Wait?! What am I thinking?

I shook my head. His head snapped up and looked around the room. As soon as his eyes landed on me, a 'relief' expression spread across his face, he smiled sweetly.

"Oh! Casey, your finally awake" He rambled, excitedly. I giggled. He blushed and looked away. Aha! I made him blush, wahoo!!! But why is that a good thing? Oh, never mind.

"Are yeah... Um, how long have I been asleep?" I asked, as my belly growled.

"Two weeks" He said, and I gaped. No wonder why I was hungry.

"What?!"

"I SAID ' TWO WEEK--

"I know what said but, how could I be asleep for that long?"

"I think the doctors, gave a needle that made you fall asleep" He shrugged. I pursed my lips. Needle eh? Thank goodness I wasn't awake because if I was, I'd be screaming out of here if I ever saw a needle. "But that doesn't matter. All that matters is that your safe" He nodded, and I was touched. It was so heart warming...

Maybe I'm having different feelings about Noah...No of course not or maybe...

Noah's POV

I wrapped my arms around her, hoping to make her feel safe. Believe it or not but I've been crying for the past last two weeks. I sound like a cry baby but if one mate is injured and there is nothing the other nate can do, they feel hopeless and depressed. So don't accuse me of being a cry baby alright? Anyway to the important stuff.

It was two weeks go...

Flashback...

"CASEY LOOK OUT!" I yelled and she was dumbfounded. She didn't know what was happening. Then the Black BMW smashed her across the road. Anger and protectiveness accelerated through me. It was like shock.

The car spun around about five times and left burn outs on the road. It ended up crashing against a gutter. I searched for her and she was laying on the ground. She wasn't making any sounds and she remained still.

I thought she dead. I thought I had lost my mate, when I bearly just got to kiss her. I ran to her as fast as I could. I picked her up in my arms. Her eyes were shut.

"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry! I didn't see her..." The guy, that had got out of the crashing car, exclaimed remorse streaming into his voice. I knew he never meant to hit her, but just the thought made me angry. Everybody started coming outside, and was checking out what happened. They all gasped when they saw Casey in my arms. She was dead...

Pump...Pump...Pump. Her heart was pumping...slightly. Hope and adrelian brushed by me. Stuff the cars. I'll run there. I turned my back to them and turned into a wolf. I carried her on my back and ran towards the fores, as everybody else stayed back, just starring at me.

I went past trees, bushes as I went through the bushy forest. I had finally made it in front of the hopital and formed back into a human. I carried her in my arms and ran across the street. A doctor was near the counter. 

I recognised him...Dr Dre? What no thats the singer...Dr Dray! (Pronounced Droy. Weird right?) Thats it, Dad's doctor. I ran to him and his eyes lightened up when he saw me, but when he saw Casey, his features darkened.

"Everybody! Emergency, woman down!" He called and came rushing to me and took Casey out of my arms. They placed her gentlely on the tolley beds and raced her down to a room...

" Noah, mate she'll be fine infact all of her wounds are healed and its a miracle because no one heals that fast" He explained. I laughed and shrugged. 

"A miracle alright" I nodded. He smiled.

"Oh and we just gave her some sleeping needles because even though her wounds healed quickly she still needs her rest" He said, before heading out the door.

End of Falshback...

"Erm...Noah? You can let go if you would like..." She nerously laughed, I slowly edged back. I whatched as her pale face turned light pink...ohh her rosy cheeks. They were so beautiful. I sighed. I need to tell her now, I can't keep it in any longer...

"Casey...I need to tell you something that you might like or dislike" 

"Hmm? Shoot"

"Okay...um, you've been having these weird feelings lately?" I asked, and her eyes widened like I figured out something. 

"Uh-uh, well... yeah" She had finally confirmed.

"Well its because your my...mate" And as soon as those words came out she froze. I swallowed hard. She layed back and shook her head. Oh no that meant bad signs...

She rejected the fact that we are mates...my heart sank low, really low.
