Chapter 11

We sat there, in an awkward silence. I didnt say anything, I felt so bad for lying to him. For the fact that I didn't feel the same way... So thats why I've been acting weird and have been blushing all the time. It was because of Noah. My mate. I took a peek up at him and in his eyes, I could see sadness and lonelyness filling them. I felt awful.

"Noah--" But he cut me off by storming off, in an inhuman speed. Oh no. I know whats going to happen next...

Flashback...

"Mommy, what happens if the girlfriend or boyfriend rejects one another?" I asked, pursing my lips. She frowned. She sighed.

"Well, darling...When you find your mate, you have to make sure you accept him as your mate. Because if the female rejacts a male and he is next alpha in line, which is the mate you will have since your an alpha's daughter, he will get very very angry and loose control. They give up on life since they think its worthless and without their mate they are nothing. Cassandra, you have to promise me you will accept your mate" She sternly explained.

Obviously, I was dumbfounded, but nodded anyway. Then my brows forrowed.

"But wont I get boy germs as in cuties?" I asked and she laughed, at the same time she shook her head.

End of flashback...

I snapped out of my eerie and hopped out of bed. I felt fine since my wounds had probably already healed. But the gown wasn't really working. I looked around for my desk. I scanned the room and spotted them on the desk next to my bed. I ran to them and picked them up. I quickly closed the door, so I could change.

I ran to the front office and called on of the nurses behind the desk.

"Excuse me did you happen to see Noah Pace run by here?" I inquired, making face, basically telling her to hurry up and tell me. She looked up.

"Oh yes, but he must have been in a hurry, he was running in a very fast pace. He went into the forest across the street. And Miss Williams whya ren't you in bed?" 

"Uh, don't worry, I'm fine" I assured and was about to leave when a hand caught my arm, and spun me around. It was a doctor. I looked at his name badge. Dr. Dray. He looked down.

"Miss Williams, where are going?"

"Um, I need some fresh air. Could you please let go?"

He let go and handed me a phone. "Your parents are on the other line" He said before walking back to...where ever he came from.

"Mom, Dad?"

"Darling! Is that you? Oh my, are you alright! Do you have any broken bones? You aren't disabled are yo--"

"Mom!"

"Sorry, I'm just worried"

"Mom, its alright. I'm fine. I healed quickly, and I'm perfectly fine"

"That's it Casey. You are coming back. I didnt send you there so get  hurt, I sent you there to learn more about Werewolves"

"No, Mom! Please don't, you can't!" I exclaimed.

"Why not?"

"Because, I found my mate!" I whisper yelled, so no one coud hear me. She gaped.

"Who is he? Is he nice? Is he good looking?"

"Mom!"

"Sorry..."

"Well, yes he is good looking and sometimes he can be nice. And you know Greg's son? Well, that's my mate"

She gaped again and sqealed.

"Did he ask you yet about the mate situation?"

"Well yeah...But I kind of said 'No'" And as soon as those words came out...

"What!!" She yelled and I edged away from the phone. "Why! Do you remeber what I told you?"

"Yeah!"

"Then, what are you doing here talking to me!"

"Well, I was leaving but you called!"

"Okay. Calm down. Call me later and run as fast as you can to him, okay?" She said and hung up. Yep, bye to you too Mom. I left the phone on the desk and ran outside. I looked left and right and couldn't even get a hint of him. So I decided to run straight. 

I ran past bushes calling his name. I ran past trees when I came across, a smashed tree. It was knocked down not long ago... He must be close.

I scanned around and saw another tree tore down. I followed to the direction, the tree was smashed.

I ran for miles. The converse shoes weren't helping me get any faster. Maybe if I formed into a wolf... I suggest but shook my head. I couldn't be bothered.

Then I smelt something in the air. A scent. A familiar one. I sniffed harder. Noah! Excitement accelerated through me. I ran to it and came across Noah; Smashing down trees.

"Noah! Stop!" I yelled and his head snapped to me. It scared me. His eyes were crimson red. Like blood. I hesitated a few steps back.

"What are you doing here? You don't want me remember? You don't love me remember?" He evilly smirked. Oh no.

"I was lying! Of course I want you. Of course I love you!" 

"Then why did you reject me!" 

"Because...I wasn't ready to accept the fact that I needed to love again. Or that I wanted to love again..." I looked down, feeling the tears lightly fall down my cheeks. He was silent. I could hear his foots steps get closer and closer. 

I felt a finger on my cheek, wiping away the tears. He softly grabbed my chip and turned it up so I was facing him face to face.

"I have never loved somebody so much, as much I love you"

Then he lightly kissed me. And naturally I kissed him back. My tongue slipped in and explored his mouth. His tongue retaliated. Then it got physical. He grabbed my arms and pushed me against the tree. It hurt. I pulled my mouth away from him.

"Noah, stop. Your hurting me..."

"Sorry" He breathed, and got off me.

 I looked up into his eyes and knew that I truly was in love with him...
