"Sir, I'm really sorry we are late, Sam over here had a little problem in DADA and when we realized we were Kate for your class we -", Ginny skidded into class, me right in her heals, stopping in mid sentence as soon as she saw the look on Snape's face.

"I'll be guessing you are the Weasley twins?  Samantha and Ginerva", Snape's mouth curled when he said Weasley and Malfoy, who, for some reason was in our, first year class, snickered.

"Yes sir, that's us", I almost mock saluted, but I held myself back, not wanting to get into trouble on my first day.

"Let's hope your potion maiming skills are better then your six older brothers, we wouldn't want another exploding cauldron on our hands", Snape rolled his eyes.

Keep rolling those, you might find a brain in there one day!

I felt Ginny tense besides me, and I shared the feeling with her. Snape was bad news, let's just hope we both could figure out this class.

"Sit down any who, we've already started, but Draco over here is helping out with our class, he is a very skilled potion master, and I'm sure he can even teach you two", Snape gave us a look, and I almost shrank back in nervousness.

And what was up with calling a second year a potion master?  No, he is a second year!

"Yes sir", we both nodded with our heads bowed, but we met each others eyes as we looked down, and I myself had to hold back laughter.

"Well well well, if it isn't the two class ditches", Draco sneered as we sat down next to him.

"Well well well, if it isn't the boy who acts as if something has crawled up his ass and died", Ginny mimicked.

Draco's pale face flushed In fury, "Just get the ingredients so we can start", he snapped.

"Aw, is little Drakey wakey upset?", I cooed as Ginny went off to find supplies.

"Shut your bloody mouth", Draco retorted.

"Ay-ey captain!", this time I really did do a salute, and then I looked into my potions text book so that I could read more about the potion we were to be making.

"Alright, I have the spiders, the lizard hearts, the goat tongue-", Ginny came back and began to list ingredients.

----  you might have already told, but I have no clue what I'm talking about, I memorized the spells, not the potions!  Lolololol

"Alright cool, now let's get this show on the road", I rubbed my hands together excitedly.

Draco just leaned back in his seat, crossed his arms, and sulked.

"Ok, so it says here we should stir clockwise five times, then add three spiders", Ginny read.

"What if we went counter clockwise twice, clockwise three times, and put in one spiders web", I thought aloud.

"Idiot", Draco mumbled, just loud enough for me to hear him.

"If you say so, just make sure we don't fail, I'd like to pass this class seeing as even Percy had troubles with it", Ginny laughed, and handed me the ingredients.

We spent the rest of the class like that, changing ingredients, making suggestions, Draco calling us idiots, and we managed to finish twenty minutes before the rest of the class.

"Yes?", Snape snapped as we came up to him, potion in the vial.

"We finished", I informed him.

"No, you did not, the directions clearly state this is to take forty eight minutes, you just have done it wrong", Snape didn't even bother to look up.

"I'm pretty sure we finished", Ginny pushed the potion into his face.

Snape sighed, a big, what the bloody hell sigh, "Fine, let me see it", he spat, grabbing it from her hands.

"Merlin, this is the potion", Snake breathed, uncorking it, sniffing it, and examining it from all sides.

"How'd you do it?", he whispered, getting up into our faces.

"We had Draco helping is I guess and-", Ginny began, but Snape cut her off.

"Draco is a second year, barely competent of passing the third year test, how did you do it?", his eyes seemed to bore into mine.

"I.. Ummm....  I'm not sure sir", I lied, looking away.

"Miss. Weasley, you stay here, I'm taking Samantha to the headmaster, Draco-", he began to speak louder, "Your in charge until I get back".

Draco looked up, mildly interested, Ginny looked dumbfounded, and I was led away.

"Sam, you listened to the sorting hat, correct?", Snape's walk was brisk, leaving me to slightly jog so that I could keep up with him.

"Sir, yes sir", I panted.

"Alright, so you know that there is something special about you?", he asked me.

I nodded, not able to answer because I was practically sprinting to keep up with him now.

Surely some people must understand the needs of the fun sized people?

"Good, right now, Dumbledore shall explain exactly what it is about you that makes you so special", Snape finally stopped at a Gargoyle.

"Arianna Dumbledore", he spoke loud,y and clearly, leaving me to look at him like he was insane.

I know we are wizards, but why are you talking to a gargoyle?  That's kind of Wei-  oh.  It moved.

Well, I'm an idiot!

"Professor?", Snape marched in, "We must tell Miss. Weasley of her powers before other students catch on and such, she has already shown skills for potion making in my class while missing twenty minutes and still finishing before everyone!".

Dumbledore, who had been reading the newspaper calmly, sat up abruptly, looking incredibly nervous.

"How can that be?  She should be an elemental, perhaps she is also a skilled potioneer", he set down his newspaper.

"Either way you must have her get to know these powers so that she will not accidentally use them in class, she needs a teacher", Snape paced back and forth I front of the desk.

"Very well Severus, I shall instruct the child, however, if I am unable to do so, you shall have the duty of that, you do remember the other student that I am to watch?", Dumbledore peered over his spectacles.

"Very well", Snape all but growled, and then looked at me.

"What time would you like this child, sir?", he gave me a once over.

"I believe you have transfiguration in an hour, yes?", Dumbledore looked at me while I quickly nodded, "She will be missing the rest of your lesson, she has already finished the potion".

Snape said nothing, he just left, slamming the door behind him.

"Alright child", Dumbledore folded his hands down on the desk while I took the seat across from him, "Let us begin".
