Three months later,
Today is Aastha's baby shower ceremony and the whole Raisinghania mansion had been preparing for this day for the past one week. It seemed like some huge or grand event and yes it is, everyone in the family is excited for the ceremony to start. From the early dawn of the morning, maids along with Gauravi and Ragini's mother who arrived two days ago are rushing here and there to check on preparations.
Ragini and Vaidehi also woke up after hearing commotion, so they hurriedly freshened up and ran out of their room to help in preparations.
The pillars and railings were covered with garlands, the whole decoration was of a variety of flowers. And the ceremony will be held in the huge lawn, where a flower canopy is set above a small podium. A long couch had been set over the podium.
It is still early morning and guards were sent to bring the fresh essentials for rituals.
Vaidehi was looking at the flower canopy and other decorations in awe.
"You liked that?
Vaidehi flinched and turned around with a jerk, only to find Kartik standing behind her with a charming smile.
Vaidehi looked up and smiled at him. Kartik's height had always surprised her. She reaches up to his chest and has to crane her neck to look up sometimes.
"When did you return back Kartik ji?
"Just now".
He replied softly, passing a bouquet to her.
"Smile more often. Ache lagte hain app smile karte huye".

Vaidehi said, taking the bouquet and smelling the flowers. She got engrossed in admiring the flowers, leaving Kartik all numb with a loud thudding heart. The tip of his ears had turned red.
