Hi, I'm Astrid Helkate and I am a Devil. I'm 115 years of age (but I look like a 16-year-old) and my parents are Devils too. We look like humans, but we have large 'tattoos' on our backs, they're not really tattoos they're our wings, but saying they're tattoos keeps us hidden. Angels are exactly the same but they are good, the main difference between us: they all about 'peace and love' and 'let the light shine' blah blah blah. We are all about 'mischief and hatred' and 'always make sure to snuff out the light'. There's one way you can tell us apart, though, except our tattoos and behaviour: our clothes. We dress in dark colours, especially black and red whereas Angels dress in light colours such as white and any pastel colour they can get their hands on. It grosses us out.

We don't sleep, it's one of the perks of being a Devil or an Angel, and we live forever unless our head is ripped from our shoulders. I still have an alarm, though, so I know when to start getting ready. We barely eat anything and have a fast metabolism. BEEP BEEP BEE- my call to get ready. I went to my closet and took out a black bodycon skirt, red blouse and black blazer. I put them on and loosely tucked in the blouse. I brushed and straightened my hair, then did my makeup. The usual: black eyeshadow, red lips, contour, etc. I put my jewellery on and my boots and by this time it was time for school, I didn't bother saying goodbye to my parents because they weren't in. Probably visiting relatives. On my way out I grabbed my bag and hung it from my forearm. I then went to my matte black Audi R8 with red rims.

I got in my car and looked in the rear-view mirror. Staring back at me were my red eyes, I knew I forgot something. "For fuck sake." I groaned and got out of the car, I left my bag in there. I went to the bathroom and got my brown contacts, I put them in quickly and went back to the car. I was then on my way to school, no, I'm not going to say hell because that would insinuate that I'm going to see my parents. I parked in the school carpark and saw immediately, the Angels stood next to their three cars watching me carefully seeing if I was going to do anything. I saw a janitor walking with a very heavy looking box, he was walking up the stairs. Bad luck for him, I clicked my fingers and he fell backwards. The very heavy box landing on him. I bowed and gave the angels a curt smile. There are three girls and four boys, angels I mean.

I saw them rush to the man and I walked past them chuckling to myself, that was pretty funny. I went to my locker and took out my books I closed my eyes and sensed I was surrounded.

"What do you guys want?" I asked, then turned around to see the 7 Angels standing around me.

"For you to stop causing trouble." Michael growled.

"Bit of a tall order if you ask me." I like to mess with them psychologically as well, they don't want to get in trouble and I always threaten them with it.

"It's not if you ask me." Seth said simply.

"You're all a bit dull aren't you?" I said smirking, "Are you forgetting what I am? I don't do nice and peaceful. That's not how I roll."

"Well, there are more of us than there is of you." David said, "You can't touch us."

"Is that a threat?" I asked condescendingly, "Because you can't touch me either unless you want to do it physically and get in trouble." I said.

"No, we-we'll do it verbally," Seraphina threatened, can I even call it that?

"Okay, get out of my way. Or the teachers might know about this soon," I shot, of course I won't tell the teachers. I don't need their help, but I like to screw with them, "Bye, losers. I have places to be, things to do and people to see. So, hail Satan and have a terrible day." I fake saluted. They all choked on their words at my farewell to them. Their names are Seraphina, David, Seth, Michael, Rabia, Laila and Raphael.
