Jason's POV

I arrived home, feeling as good as I've been in a long time. My mom was waiting for me. "How was your date, sweetie". "It was amazing" I said "I think I'm falling in love". I went inside, grabbed a coke and plopped down on my bed. I started to drift off when I heard a buzz from my phone, it was Amber. It read *i love you Jason, thanks for everything. I'm gonna miss you goodbye*. At first, I was very confused. Then it hit me. I ran as fast as I ever had to my car. This can't be happening. I jumped into my car and went 80 all the way to her house. The door was locked. I slammed my shoulder against the door several times. It wouldn't budge. I ran into the door one last time. Finally the door busted open. I ran into her bedroom, every part of me was shaking. As a ran in, I expected the worst. As a looked down on the bathroom floor, I saw her. She was face down on the floor. She was as pale as the white linoleum tiles on her bathroom floor. Pills were scattered all over the place. I let a huge scream. I stuck my fingers down her throat hoping it wasn't too late. She wouldn't budge. Finally, she gaged. She threw up at least 15 pills. I screamed "AMBER, AMBER, ANSWER ME PLEASE I CANT LOSE YOU". Tears were colliding against her soft skin. I turned on her shower and put the water ice cold. She finally responded, she started crying as hard as I've ever heard in my entire life. I was crying hard also. We sat there with the water pouring on us, crying as hard as both of us ever had. Finally, I took her to the hospital. The good news is that she was okay. My shoulder was fractured for me slamming against the door so hard. She was dismissed the next morning. Me and her were silent the whole way to her house. When we got to her house I said I would stay with her but she said she wanted to be alone. I hopped in my car, I put my key in the ignition. I couldn't leave, I was too afraid to leave her. That date went so well, what did I say? What did I do? I spent that whole day camped out in my car outside her window, she needed someone to save her and I let her down. Maybe I wasn't up for the task? Maybe I should just leave.......
