Assassin Love Part 2

The van was following me but not as fast, so that I wouldn't think they're following me. But it's obvious that they are. Every turn I took they took. I was eager to find out who was in the van, but I couldn't tell. 

I didn't know who to contact, so I called my best friend. "Hello." She greeted.  

"Hey! What's up? Where are you?" I asked. 

"Oh, I'm going to work." She told me. 

"Oh, really? How's your boss?" I asked her. " 

"Yeah. Uhh, my boss? She's fine." She told me. 

"Oh, that's great. So your boss quit?" I asked. 

"Yeah, no... We still have the same boss." She said. 

"Oh, I thought your boss was a guy." I told her. 

"Oh. Haha. Where did you hear that from?" She asked me. 

"You." I replied. 

She hung off on me too. Great, they got my best friend Haley too. Seriously what are these guys up to? I drove a little faster to get away from them. But they went faster too. I didn't even know where I was heading, all I was hoping was that I could find my way back. I took a deep breath and decided to call one of the workers at work, her name was Ashley. Not many people knew about her. But once you get to know her she can be the most amazing girl ever. 

Ring Ring 

"Hello." Ashley greeted. 

I knew it was Ashley and relieved that it was her. 

"Hey, where are you right now?" I asked her through the phone. 

"I'm at work. Where are you? The boss isn't here yet for some odd reason, so you better show up before he does." She told me. 

Hmm. The boss isn't at work? "Oh, I'm running a little late." I hesitated. 

"Oh, that's fine. Just hurry. Look, I gotta go." She told me right before she hung up on me. 

Hmm, why isn't the boss at work yet? I wondered. He's usually the first one there. A thought popped in my head. Maybe he was caught by those guys in the van with that little girl!! 

I looked through the mirror and the van was still following me. Ugh! What do these guys want from me!! I complained in my head. 

I sighed. So those guys got Eric and Haley. But not Ashley. That means everyone else is probably still at headquarters. I cheered myself up. 

Now how do I get them away? I thought. Why don't I just go back to work? They already got my boss.

What do these guys want!! I complained. Sigh. I took a U-turn to go back to headquarters. 

When I went in, everyone were at their stations finding more about the person they were supposed to kill. 

Ashley rushed to where I was standing. "Oh my gosh!! Where were you!! I was worried sick!" Ashley exclaimed. "Oh don't worry I'm fine." I replied like there was nothing wrong. 

Before I went to my station I looked back to see the black van at the parking lot... HEADING RIGHT TOWARDS WHERE I WAS!! I panicked. I ran for my life!! But then I felt someone's strong arms around my waist dragging me to the van. "Ugh!! Let me go!!" I demanded.
