So this is how it all began for Ashley. This is her Directioner story...
My name is Ashley. I'm a 17 year old Directioner from Canada. I've been a fan since late 2011/early 2012. I first started liking Louis, because the pictures I saw of him and I thought he was a model, not a boy band member. When I was 13, almost 14, the boys started getting bigger in Canada and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
I didn't know why people were making such a big fuss over these 5 guys from England/Ireland. I searched them up online and found some fan fictions (before there were a ton that were dirty lol). Then I stared listening to What Makes You Beautiful. I really liked WMYB, so I downloaded the rest of UAN.
By summer of 2012, I found myself completely obsessed with these 5 guys we call our idiots. As of Thursday, July 30th, 2015, I've got 25 posters, 2 magazines, the Our Moment perfume, the Life as One Direction book, 3 pillows, both movies, Four cd, 2 t shirts, a sweater, wall stickers and countless friends that I have made throughout these years due to the boys.
I've only seen them once in concert, but sadly it was after Zayn left. The concert was in Winnipeg on July 24th, 2015 - the day after their 5th birthday. My first peice of 1D merch was 2 pillows that my mom bought me.
I couldn't have asked for 5 better guys to be my role models and to be the best thing to ever happen to me.
