"Practice, practice, practice!" My mom kept yelling. She knew how much this meant to me, she also knew that was all I was going to hear from Miss Abby. I practiced every day for at least 3 hours, not included the amount of time I stretch for. I was working so hard to be the best that I could be, I didn't want to be gone after the first couple days.
~Time Passes to my first day~
The day has finally come, today, my dreams were going to come true!! I would officially be a member of the ALDC. We pulled up to the building and I walked in smiling. They showed me to where I was supposed to go, etc. I walked into seeing all of the other girls and almost screamed. "Hi." They all said. They were about to tell me there names, but I already knew them. I hugged all of them and put my dancing shoes on. I was super excited! I walked into the dance studio where I saw a pyramid, a pyramid with 7 people! Not 6, 7! Kendall, Maddie, Kalani, Jojo, Nia, Mackenzie, and me, y/n. "Alright ladies so let's get straight to pyramid! This is y/n by the way, the newest edition to our team. Anyway, back to pyramid. At the bottom is y/n, you weren't with us last week." Abby finally ends pyramid and we start warming up, and I got something I did not expect, a solo! Abby put in the type of moves that she knew I wasn't good at before, but I nailed them! And I obviously impressed her. Practice was finally over after a couple hours and we got to go home. All the girls came up to me and asked if I wanted to hang out, so I asked my mom and she said yes! I really hope she wasn't causing any trouble with Abby or the moms, especially not on my first day. So I went with Maddie and the girls to Maddie and Mackenzie's house.
