Mackenzie Ziegler has had her fill of being a dancer. After floundering in the shadows of her older sister Maddie, she's thrown in the towel and stopped dancing at the Abby Lee Dance Company. Not only has she given up her career, but she's hurt her family and damaged relationships with Abby who has claimed she was throwing everything away.Once she stops dancing, it triggers a domino affect, leading to some other unfortunate things. Her mom Melissa pressures her to go back and rejoin the dance company but Mackenzie feels she has better things in store for her.
