It was January. Cold air ran over the window making it sound creepily. Holmes and I were sitting across the dining table, tasting the delicious food Mrs. Samantha, our cooker had prepared. Holmes was reading a fax. From a client, I guessed. She was in silence, and I was used to it and did not feel awkward any time she did it.

She suddenly placed the fax on the table to her left and started eating the food.

"This food tastes very good." She commented finally. "But not this case. It sucks." She said giving me the fax so I could read it.

"Please, Watson, read it aloud. I need to listen to it, so I can put my ideas straight in order."

"Dear. Miss Holmes.
This is agent Louis Henderson, from Dexter Cross. I am the head of the recent case happened in Oxfor Steet yesterday. I am writing you in order to ask for and advice in this creepy and incredible case.

Yesterday, around 6:03pm the guard of Garg Hotel, Joshua Smith, called us to denounce a criminal act. He found Mr. Elley Scoth, a permanent resident of that hotel, death in his room that morning. We found the man lying on the floor with the head bleeding and with a big pain on his left leg. The guard declares that every day he woke up him at 6am to give him his breakfast and then left. But that day was different, he got surprised when he saw the man on the floor and instantly called us. I have already checked the room where the crime happened and I have found three cards from unknown prosedence in a little golden box But I do not really think they can be useful in the case. They just contain drawings. They were maybe sent by a child, as the victim had many nephews.

Please, Miss. Holmes, send me a fax as soon as possible and if you can, come to the crime scene. Your presence is really necessary at this alrming moments. I am soon to give up. I do not find a clue, but maybe you will.

Yours sincerely,
Louis Henderson."

"That is all." I said to Holmes who heard the reading concentrated and sank in her thoughts.

"Drawings." She mentioned. "What do you think, my dear friend, about those interesting drawings?" She really seemed interested in this case, as I was.

"It has many relevant characteristics. I think it can be difficult to indentify the criminal having just three cards which do not tell us anything. Maybe, the officer is right. Maybe they had been sent by a child to the victim."

Merely smiled. "Wrong, my dear friend, they can tell us more than expected. In the past, criminal used to send cards with drawings, so it could be more difficult that they be indetified" She then jumped from her sofa and went upstair. Some seconds later she came down with a coat on. "I need to see them." She added. "Are you coming?"

I could not resist from her propose. For one reason I felt she was right, so I decided to follow her.
