"Come out, come out wherever you are..." Freddy whispered, looking left and right. Freddy looked in front of him and found Linda hiding behind a houseplant. A mischievous smile crept onto his face. Jogging up to the unsuspecting caretaker, Freddy pounced, landing right on Linda's neck. Linda screamed as Freddy twisted backwards, hitting his head on the tile floor in the process and snapping Linda's neck instantly. Getting up, Freddy bent down looking at his victim then whispering, "Found you..." When Freddy looked up he found workers surrounding him and the corpse.

"Really, Freddy?" One of them asked.

"What? I got sick of her," Freddy replied getting up from where he was crouching.

"Linda was the only one who was capable of working with you..." Christine said. She looked down at the corpse, sadly.

"Want to join her?" Freddy asked walking up to Christine.

"Back off," a buff looking man stepped in between Freddy and Christine. Freddy hissed when a liquid hit his face and started to burn his skin. When it hit the holes in his cheeks he screamed in pain, backed up and grabbed his face. Freddy passed out soon after. Just as Freddy woke up he was in his room. A low growl came from the back of his throat.

"Stupid handlers..." Freddy sat up. Shooting pain came from the back of his head so he put his hand there. He figured that he would feel grossly greasy hair, but he found a bandage instead. "What...?" He got up from where he was on the bed and looked into a mirror that was in his room. Freddy's appearance was ghastly; dark bags under his eyes, dried blood all over his face, matted hair covered in bandages, bruises, more bandages on his cheeks, where the holes formed. The last thing Freddy noticed was his eyes, one was stitched up like an 'x' and he could not see his eyelids, and the other eye he noticed when he blinked only one eyelid would close. His eye widened as much as it could, "What was that liquid?"

"Good morning, Freddy I will be you new caretaker, I'm Eve. Would you like to have some breakfast?" A young girl came through the door that led to the halls. Freddy turned his head to look at her. He noticed that she had brown, short hair and amber eyes, she was beautiful. "Oh," she jumped a little when Freddy looked at her. Freddy started to walk up to her with curiosity in his eye. "You startled me," Eve smiled putting the tray that had Freddy's breakfast on it down. "So, Freddy do you want to eat?"

"Hmm..." Freddy was so close to Eve that it scared her a bit. He was taller than her by a lot, "How old are you?" Freddy asked out of the blue.

"Oh! I'm only 18," she replied while helping Freddy with his food.

"Why so young?" Freddy asked, food piling inside his mouth as  he talked.

"I graduated high school last year and I saw a boy who got diagnosed with schizophrenia. He was bullied just because of that, so I decided that I wanted to help people like that boy. So when I found this place yesterday I gladly took the opportunity, this is my first day on the job, they were really desperate to find someone for the job," Eve smiled.

"Why did you pick me? There is more patients then on one list," Freddy listened for the reply oa he finished his food.

"I looked at all the lists. When I saw your name and picture I thought that you needed more then what the other workers here say you need. When I picked you the receptionist said that you recently lost your other caretaker...he said that you had that caretaker since you started to live here. Is that true?"

"No, I had many...they either quit or unexpectedly died or got murdered," Freddy responded honestly with a tiny, creepy smile spreading across his lips.

Eve, without noticing the smile on Freddy's features continued, "Well thanks for being so kind! But I have to get back," she then got up from where she was sitting with the tray in her hands. Before she left the room she turned back to Freddy. "I know it's sudden and you don't know me that well, but why are you here?"

Freddy smiled, "Good question, but you have to get back, I'll tell you next time."

"Okay, thanks again, see you soon," Eve waved goodbye and left the room.
