Mist filled the air as the sound of a horse galloping could be heard from the distance. The sound became louder as the horse came near. I girl wearing an extremely puffy dress sat on a rock. She had long flowing red hair which was blowing in the light summer breeze. The horse than approached the girl.  It started to throw up money on to the girls lap. The it did the same with all kinds of candy. Then it opened its mouth a final time "BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!"
"Huh?" Misty questioned as she woke up rubbing her eyes. She sat up as the beeping noise filled her room. She turned to the alarm clock sitting on her night stand. "Oh no," she groaned. It was 7:20 which meant Misty had to get ready extremely fast or be late for school the fifth time this month. Which she could not afford considering she was the captain of the girls swim team and at the moment her grades weren't too hot. She quickly threw off her pajamas and squeezed Into a pair of her favorite skinny jeans. She threw on a red tank top with a yellow crop top that hung over her shoulders over it. Then quickly tied her long red hair into a side ponytail. It was now 7:25 no time for make up she thought. She ran down stairs slipped into a pair of red flats and hung her backpack over her shoulder. And she was out the door.
She threw the school doors open. Then she sighed of relief seeing the rest of the students were in the halls. She ran to her locker. Near the locker stood a girl with thick purple hair. This girl was Misty's best friend she was also the most athletic girl in the school. She also had most flawless hair.  "Wow! You look awful!" The purple haired girl exclaimed.
"I know," Misty sighed "I had no time to do my makeup or brush my hair," she explained pulling a knot out of her hair.
"You do realize that today is picture day, right?" The girl with purple hair questioned.
"Wait, what? No, no, no!" Misty said looking around at all the other students dressed in the best things they owned. "Iris you have to help me!" Misty shouted desperately.
"Sorry Mist, all I have is this foundation and I mean it's not going to be the best match for your skin," Iris apologized. She was right Iris skin was pretty dark especially compared to the pale red head's. Then the bell rang. "Meet me at the bathroom after first period, I have an idea," Iris said quickly as she was running off to class. Misty sighed and left to her class.
First period ended and Misty ran to the girls bathroom as quick as she could. Iris was there along with an unfamiliar face. "Hey Misty," Iris called out waving her arms in the air getting Misty's attention. Misty ran over to them. "This is Dawn," she said gesturing to the bluenette at her side. Dawn was one of the most stylish girl in school she always had the best makeup and her hair was never out of place. Dawn was quite the flirt whenever you saw her she was with a new boy or girl. She was also super perky and on the cheer team.
"Hi I'm Mis-"
"No time for introduction we need to get to work. This won't be easy," Dawn interrupted.
"Gee thanks," Misty said sarcastically.
"Ok close your eyes, but not to tight," Dawn instructed Misty.
Misty did as she was told. Dawn put cold stuff on Misty's face followed my powder. Then put eyeshadow on her eyelids then lined them. She put a little blush on her. Then mascara. She then curled her lashes. Then she plucked at her eyebrows and upper lip.
"Ow," Misty complained each time she pulled out a hair. Iris watched in awe with her hands on her hips.
"Annnnd done," Dawn said as she finished putting on lipgloss on Misty. "Now for your hair,"
She brushed and pulled curling as quick as she could then she pinned it.  "Wow what did you do with Misty?" Iris asked.
Misty looked in the mirror. Her jaw dropped. She touched her face to make sure it was real. "How did you? You're amazing!" Misty complemented Dawn.
"Thanks," Dawn blushed.
"You're the best thank you so much! I have to go to class, but thank you!" Misty said grabbing her backpack and rushing to class with Iris following.
"I am the best," Dawn gleamed.
