Lily gave up on following Levy when he realized she was headed home. He really could not believe Gajeel had been so careless when he was speaking to Levy.
Lily had known Gajeel could be dence but Lily couldn't believe that Gajeel hadn't thought for a second that maybe Levy had been avoiding him because of what an ass he was.
The idiot had gone on and on while he had been helping Lily about how he didn't know why 'Shrimp' was avoiding him and he didn't know why.
The idiot had literally called her stupid not even two week's ago and then he gets all angry when she doesn't talk to him anymore.
He had even came up with the assumption that Levy had a boyfriend. Then he got all upset and pissed when he was the one who said it.
Lily could have sworn he was jealous.
And then he goes and brings it up like that. After all the work Lily had put into trying to persuade Levy not to take what Gajeel says so hard the big metal head went and said something stupid and inconsiderate like that.
He kicked the dirt angrily.

Gajeel stuck his hands in his pockets and walked slouched down as he headed towards the guild hall. It was barely twelve and he had been abandoned by Lily and Levy already. Today was just not his day.
His mood wasn't helped at all when Natsu almost immediately started trying to fight him.
"Go away!" Gajeel growled for what felt like the millionth time in the past hour.
"What you scared because you know you'll loose?" the pinkett taunted.
Gajeel took a deep breath before he decided to punch Natsu directly in the face.
Natsu then countered with a flaming fist to Gajeel's stomach.
Not even two minutes later half the guild was fighting.
Gray, Natsu, and Gajeel were having an intense three way fight a little off to the side.
Erza had gotten up to hit them but as she stood someone bumped into her causing her to drop her cake.
She stared at the cake in shock then at the fork in her hand that was empty.
She requiped attacking everyone in sight that ended most of the fighting.
A certain blonde haired celestial mage had been the one to bump into Erza but she didn't need to know that.
Levy walked to the guild with a huge smile on her face. She finaly finished deciphering the book and she wanted to test out one of the spells on Jet and Droy. She had checked both their apartments.
When she walked into the guild and looked around. It looked like tornado had blown through.
She rolled her eye's when she saw Natsu and Gajeel going at it. Poor Gray had been caught in a painful looking headlock by Erza.
Levy walked towards the bar to sit next to Lucy who was sipping her strawberry milkshake with a guilty look on her face.
When she saw Levy she brightned up.
"What's up Levy?" she asked.
"I can't find Jet or Droy anywhere." she wined. "They were at my house this morning."
"Well didn't they tell you they took a job request." Mara-Jane said helpfully from behind the bar were she was cleaning the counter. "I thought you would go with them since you guys are hardly ever separated."
"No they didn't. It's not like them to just run off on a job without telling me." Levy said slumping in her seat. She stood up shoulders slumped and walked out the door.
She hoped they weren't mad at her. She had been busy lately but they didn't normally just leave her.
She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice the small cat that was following her. (Got bored made up my own exceed. I can do what I want)
Laxus walked down the street he honestly didn't realize just how big the town was not to mention how many people there were.
He had nearly gotten lost at least twice not to mention a lot had changed in the seven years they had been gone.
He growled as he turned into yet another unknown street.
He looked around for anything familiar. He glanced into the window and he had never been so relieved to see a little bluenett in an orange headband.
He walked in and sat across from the book worm.
"Hey Levs." he said snatching her book she had been reading.
"Hey." she said dully.
"Hey what with the frown? Are you angry with me or something?" he asked.
"No it's not that." she sighed. "Listen I don't want you to get the wrong idea. I-"
Laxus interrupted her.
"I know it's okay." he said. "I understand. I-I was actually wondering if you could help me get with Mara-Jane." he said nervously.
Levy did a little squeal and and agreed to help him. They walked to the gild a little later.
It had been cleaned up a bit and the fighting had stopped completely.
Many of the Gild Members turned to look at the two walking in together. Levy could already hear the gossip and it probably wasn't helped by the fact that they spent the rest of the day whispering in a corner table. Many of their friends wondered what they were talking about.
Especially a very jealous Iron Dragon Slayer who was having trouble not pounding the blondes face in.
Gajeel couldn't believe the nerve of that big lightning wanna be Dragon Slayer.
"Gajeel calm down." Lily said as Gajeel punched down yet another three. "They might not even be like that and your probably getting yourself all worked up for nothing." the cat continued to reason.
Gajeel picked up a huge bolder and threw it.
"I am calm." Gajeel yelled as he tore a tree out by the roots and threw that as well.
"Your murdering nature Gajeel." the cat said with a irritated face.
"Nature is in my way!" he said throwing more tree's.
"Gajeel!!" Lily shouted getting his friends full attention. "Your an idiot. She obviously feels like a burden to you!" he hit Gajeel in his face. It was harsh but it was the only way to get through to him sometimes. "Go apologize and stop yelling at her."
"I don't yell at her. She's just to sensitive about stuff." Gajeel said holding his hurt nose. "And What did you hit me for you dumb cat?"
"She has every right not to want to speak with you. You were being an asshole, stop trying to make it her fault." Lily said.
"Did you see how they were acting?" He asked his cat. "I mean he is the masters grandson and what am I? I'm some monster who pinned her and her friends to a tree in the middle of the night and destroyed there Gild Hall."
"She forgave you for that already. The whole Gild did." Lily yelled. "Stop living in the past like that."
"But-"
"Just go apologize and give her some flowers. She likes violets. I can guarantee she'll forgive you. That is if she's even angry with you." Lily said.
Gajeel thought about it for a moment.
"Or I could just go pound his face in." he said cracking his knuckle.
He started walking only to have a rock thrown at his head.
Lily was sick of Gajeel and his stupidity.
"I'm going home Gajeel I'll see you later or something." Lily said flying off leaving Gajeel to smash more stuff alone and trying to ignore his throbbing head.
