Chapter 1

KATY'S POV

I look at my feet under the desk while waiting for my english test to be marked.

"Katy Windrall", Ms Metrin calls.

I walk up to the teachers desk while I feel everyone's eyes on my back. When I reach her desk, she hands me back my test sheet with the grade A- on it.

"Thanks", I say cheerfully, then I walk back waiting for the bell to go.

*********AFTER SCHOOL*********

"KATY!" I hear Dani shout, running to catch up with me.

"What did you get on your test??" She asks trying to catch her breath.

"A-!" I squeal delightfully, I had been stressing to get it done ALL WEEK!

Dani knows because I live in the same house as her. Since my parents died a couple of years ago in a car crash, I have lived with the Hamites. It had been fun and easy to cope with because Dani is meh BESTIE!!

We walk slowly to the gym and talk about random things. Dani and I are both cheerleaders and we train 4 nights a week.

As we rock up, there are all the boys in the footy team surrounding the doors.

As Dani and I shove through, I see Lucas.....the football captain. EVERYONE flirts with him because he is the hottest one at school. But I don't, I think it is no use since I don't think I'm even hot.

"KATY!" Dani pushes my thoughts out and grabs me by the hand pulling me through the doors the get out of the crowd.

"You know you were staring at Lucas again....?" She sighs.

"NO I WASN'T!" I try and lie but it doesn't work.

"KATY! I know when you are in love with someone, it's looks like you stare straight through them"

I give up, "yeh okay, but I don't have a chance with him anyways so......."

"Katy, your BEAUTIFUL! You never know"

I shake my head to disagree but Dani is already walking over to the rest of the squad who are waiting for us to get there.

*********AFTER TRAINING*********

DANI'S POV

"Pheww, that was hard! I feel like I can eat a whole cow!" I laugh out.

"Come on, it's only 5:00 and what should we do?" Asks Katy.

"GIRLS NIGHT!" I scream randomly walking towards the gym door.

Katy looks at me funny and laughs, "Okay, let's hurry up and get home then we shall get dressed and BEGIN!"

AHHH I love Katy! She always understands me! We love to get dressed up and play games whilst eating popcorn, we call this the, 'Girls Night at Home'.

Outside there wasn't a crowd anymore since footy was now over and all the boys had gone home. Yeh thats right! Gym goes for longer than footy does, and I have to say that gym would be much more harder then a night of footy.

It is good that our house is only 2km or so away from the gym, because then we can walk.

As we arrive in the door, mum asked how school was and just the usual boring things. We both nod and reply good then go up stairs.

"WOW! Dani you look stunning." Katy's says after we got changed and did our make up.

I now look at Katy and see she is wearing a tight fitted purple dress, "YOU ARE TOO!" I yell and we laugh.

I look in the mirror at my thin body (yes, cheer leading did make Katy and I quite skinny). I'm wearing a short black mini skirt with a floral tank top, my hair was straighten and silky.

"READY?!" I hear Katy say behind me.
