I was getting my lunch out of my locker when Joe appeared behind me.
"Hey... I was wondering if I could sit with you at lunch today because I have no friends" Joe asked me as a smile crept along my face.
"Sure" I replied calmly even though I was squealing on the inside.
I shut my locker and held my sandwich in hand as he silently walked along my side.
"So, are your friends nice?" He asked.
"Yes, but they can get a little judgemental, especially Caspar but you don't need to listen to him." I chuckled.
"Oh, okay" he nervously laughed.
"No need to be shy, I'll introduce you" I shared a warm smile as we continued walking until the group was in sight.
Holly, heather and Heidi's jaw all dropped when they saw me walk towards them with Joe.
"Hey guys, this is Joe" I introduced him but no one said anything except for Michael.
"Hi Joe, I'm Michael" he waved.
"I'm Casper"
"Heidi"
"I'm holly"
"And I'm heather"
Everyone introduced themselves.
"And we are the power rangers!" I joked.
Joe let out an adorable laugh.
"I thought I was coming to talk to him with you" holly whispered in my ear.
"He spoke to me first, he asked to hang out with me" I whispered back.
"Shit" she said aloud.
"Shut up!" I nervously giggled.
"What?" Joe asked turning to look at me.
"Nothing important" I smiled as he frowned.
"Okay"
