Friday Movie (One-Shot)

2 years na kaming nag-sasama. 2 years din niya ba akong paghihintayin?

Friday ngayon. And today is our Movie time. Ito lang ang day na mag-bobonding kami

dahil busy kami sa kanya kanya naming mga trabaho. Umuwi ako ng maaga ngayon

para sa movie night namin. PERO walang dumating na Vern. (-.-“)

Just call me Claire, short for Clairane. After graduating from college nag sama na kami ni

Vern. Ang childhood sweetheart ko na sinagot ko 2 years ago. . .

12:02 AM na! Saturday na! 5 hours ako nag hintay sa boyfriend ko! Take note 5 hours!

Hinintay ko siyang umuwi. Hindi ako matutulog hanggang mag explain siya bakit hindi

siya nakarating sa movie night namin.Ngayon lang niya na miss ang MOVIE FRIDAY

namin!! Humanda siya sa akin!

Claire’s POV

While waiting for my oh-so lokong boyfriend nag basa nalang ako ng libro. While reading 

may narinig akong nag bukas ng pinto.an. I stood up and went towards the door and

there I found him struggling to stand up. Aba lasing pa tung gagong tuh!

"Where were you?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

"I was drinking with Lance. Anything wrong with that, my dear?" replied an equally cool

voice.

"No. There was no harm to the rest of the world or the universe but possibly to one

person which happened to be me, yes. You know what yesterday was?" Galit na galit na

talaga ako sa kanya. He was just staring at me like anong-meron-kahapon.

"Kahapon? Friday. So?"Loko talaga tung lalaki na tuh!

"Wow, you got a gold star for knowing it. Now, you'll get another if you know why I'm

pissed here" Galit kong saad. Napa English na ako -.-

"I'm guessing you're pissed because either I didn't tell you my plans for the week even

though you're not my mother or that you're at that time of month." Vern replied cockily

with a smirk.

"Well Done!" I said as I get up and start walking over to him with a smile. Not the usual

ones though. It looks harmless but as I got closer to him, my smile slowly turned into a

glare. "You get your gold star you wanted! You could have told me that you were coming

home late and aren't coming back for Friday Movie! And then you wouldn't get a pissed,

hungry person shouting at your face right now who is waiting for an explanation."

"Well, I'm ever so sorry mother but I thought I was old enough to be able to go outside

by myself without hurting myself and get kidnapped at the process by some scary

people." Sigaw niya sa akin. Hindi ko na talaga ma intindihan bakit cya nagkaganito.

"Wa’g kang sarcastic. Iniwan mo ako dito mag isa! I thought you were thoughtful

enough to do things but I guess you prove me wrong." Sabi ko sa kanya.

"Well, I'm going to bed so good night" said Vern who started to head towards the

bedroom.

Hindi na ako nag-salita baka ma iyak pa ako.

He stood waiting for me to move but asked "What?"

"Wala ka bang nakakalimotang sabihon sa’kin?" tanong ko.

"Not that I have in mind, right now."

"Well, I demand an apology." Tinitigan ko siya nang matagal.

"For what? That I'm sorry for you PMSing? Well here you go, Sorry"
