Acceptance and Separation
Angela’s POV
“You killed her.”
I don’t have any emotion when he looked at me. “Yes, I killed her. And Yes, I’m angela. And this is the reason why I can’t go back anymore.”
“What? Hindi ko maintindihan.”
“I want a revenge, so I learn to kill. And now, I killed the father of Yvette.”
“No. Bumalik na tayo.”
“I can’t.” Tumalikod na ko sa kanya. Pero bigla na lang niya kong niyakap.
“I still accept you.”
I laugh. “You not changed. Masyado kang mabait Yuan. And I love you for that. But I can’t.”
“Is it because of him?”
“I love him.”
“We need to go.”
“Ben.” Bigla na lang kinuha ni Nathan yung baril.
“You are the reason why is she like that right?” Tinignan lang siya ni Ben. Umiling ako sa kanya para hindi na niya patulan pa si Nathan.
“Tama na.” Biglang tinaas ni Ben yung baril.
“Ben no!!” I need to save him. I hit him near his heart kung saan alam ko na hindi matatamaan ang mga vital organ niya. Bigla siyang tumumba.
“A-angela.” I looked at him.
“She’s dead. Matagal na. Accept it. I’m now NadineShawn Mondragon.” Then umalis na kami ni Ben.
“I can’t stay here anymore.”
“What?”
“I’m leaving the company in your care.”
“But you work hard to get it back.”
“I know. But you know, I only do that for my revenge.” Pagbaba namin ng kotse nakita ko na nandun si Ace, Allaric at Sandy. Sumunod naman sa akin si Ben.
“What’s happening?”
“You still kept that baby?!!! You’re weak.”
“What?”
“Sandy, Ben kill the Baby. That’s your punishment for betraying me.”
“No!!! Please. Iiwan ko na lang siya. Please.”
“Tsk tsk tsk. Look at you. You’re weak because of that baby. And you betrayed me. All of you.”
“Huh?”
“Kinasal kayo ni Ace without telling me!!!” He knows it.
Flashback
Then he gave me a paper. He just make me open it. Then-
“Marriage contract?”
“Here.” A pen. “Yung pirma mo na lang.”
“But-“
“I know, we don’t have the right to be happy. But can we atleast try. I even make a life and death decision just to be with you.”
I sigh. “We just came back here in the Philippines, and I can’t—“
“What?” He said in worried face. I kissed him. “I can’t say no.” Then I sign that. He smiled at me.
