Twenty minutes in and I was ready for them to leave.

Niall decided that he would much rather hang out with Harry and I than sample his books, but still refused to pay for them out of fear I would make them leave afterwards. Instead, he stood at the desk next to Harry, with one of the books open in front of him and every time he noticed my eyes drift to it, he would turn a page. Harry didn't seem to have any qualms about spending his night here, making it clear that they had no where else to be and might as well make the most of the night since they were already awake. I don't know if I would consider spending my night in a book shop as making the most of it, but to each his own.

In the beginning I was cool with them staying, thinking they were just going to hangout and make conversation sparinging, but Niall's incessant chatter and Harry's never ending questions on each book within grabbing distance (I'm almost 100% sure he was doing this to annoy me), were starting to drive me insane. I was starting to grow extremely tired since I had worked most of the day shift and didn't nap before coming in and the last cup of coffee I had definitely had worn off at this point. I felt the irritation growing and so badly wanted the both of them to just shut up.

I cut off Niall's story about the time he won some golf championship, "Look, Niall, I'm sure the ending to that story is super great and all but you've been talking non-stop since you sat down and you're kind of giving me a headache."

He formed an 'o' shape with his lips, "Sorry."

"Yeah, Niall. Would it kill you to shut up, for like, two seconds?" Harry said from his spot on the desk.

Niall turned to him, "Me? You haven't stopped asking questions since we got here. That's annoying."

"No it's not."

"Yes it is. Right, Auden?" Niall asked me.

"No it's not. Tell him, Auden."

I put my head in my hands, "Oh my God, I need coffee."

"There's a pot right behind you. Just make some." Harry pointed out the obvious.

"I would, if only there was any coffee left."

"We could go get you some!" Niall volunteered.

"Like hell we will." Harry mumbled. "She's more than capable."

"I'm not allowed to leave the shop. I work here."

"Exactly, so we'll go and get it for you." Niall grabbed his wallet off of a pile of books.

"Correction: You'll go and get it. I'm not leaving." Harry told him.

"Fine. How do you take your coffee, Auden."

"Black, please. I need all the caffeine I can get."

He took Harry's order before jogging out the door while searching for the nearest place to grab a coffee that was still open.

"Black? You take your coffee black?" Harry had a look of disgust on his face.

"Yeah."

"But why? It's so bitter."

"It matches my soul." I gave him a smile.

He looked me up and down, "Yeah, you look like the type."We fell into an awkward silence before he spoke again. "Wanna play a game?"

I furrowed my eyebrows. "What kind of game?"

"A question game. We each ask each other one question and if we answer interestingly enough the person gets a point. Whoever makes it to 10 points wins."
