Jeff's POV
I stared in the mirror, I was wearing a new tuxedo, It was Halloween and I decided to take Iris out for a nice dinner at her favorite Italian restaurant Bella. I heard soft crying coming from the bathroom, I poked my head round the door and saw that Iris was sobbing quietly, I rushed over "Iree my sunshine, what's wrong?" I asked, "my sister, she... Used to do my make-up, doing it just brought back memories- I'll be okay in a minute." I nodded and left so she could finish crying in peace and do her make-up.
Iris was looking stunning with a loose red dress with a plunge neckline which showed some cleavage "your looking fine, Miss Morerose." I said whilst wrapping my arms around her "you look hansome," she said "I feel awkward," I replied with a chuckle.
We had just finished our main course and our desserts were just coming "Iris are you happy here with me?" I asked "yeah I couldn't imagine life any different now." she replied, that was what I wanted to hear. We were interrupted by the waiter who winked at Iris whilst taking our main meal opcvlrder "thanks burger boy, your not needed here anymore." I growled as he placed our desserts infront of us. After eating our cakes "you really need to get jealously issues checked out," Iris commented. "Hmmmm," I replied and put down enough notes to cover the bill "lets go for a walk."
I led Iris towards the lake jetty, where we shared our first proper kiss. Iris gasped at the sight, candles in jam jars lit the sand and the jetty with black rose petals scattered along the way. I walked Iris to the small wooden pier and keeled on one knee and asked "Iris, you have been my sunshine since I first laid eyes on you, fuck this-basically will you marry me?" I asked
Iris's POV
I stared at Jeff, this was all beautiful, "of course I will marry you!" I replied. Jeff quickly slipped the pretty ring on which was engraved with my sunshine xxx , he tipped my head back so I was looking into his eyes and gently kissed my lips. This was so un-like Jeff , not that don't like his normal style, it's just nice to have a gentle kiss every once in a while.
"Do you care for some Champagne my sexy fiancee?" Jeff asked me whilst pulling out some Moêt from a ice-filled bucket and I nodded. Me and Jeff enjoyed a glass of bubbly and watched the full moon peak over the Pine trees before going back to the house and going to bed, Hoody was still doing his thing for his Halloween celebrations.
"Thank you for making me the happiest immortal man in the world." I said to Iris as we watched A Haunted House in bed "thank you for making me the luckiest woman in the world." she replied.
