Prologue

---『Summary』---

Tsunayoshi being abandoned at birth lives at an orphanage in the peaceful town of Namimori. But the truth is, the child does not know that. At the age of three being told that his family perished in a car crash and mother dying giving birth to him, he lives the next twelve years of his life in a lie.

The next two years were spent in the orphanage until one day, a man wearing a fedora walks in and wants to adopt him. So, at the age of five he ends up with a man who introduces himself as Reborn. What a unique name indeed. He lives in the house of this man, and from now on, his new 'home' and stays there for ten years until the fateful day comes.

The day the lies will reveal themselves.

But, wait.

Everyone knows who Reborn is, right? The number one hitman adopting a child? Are you joking? True, Tsuna has the blood of Vongola. But. No one knows that, and certainly the couple that abandoned Tsuna wouldn't reveal anything at all.

No one knows Reborn's recourses though... And what happens in those two years at the orphanage? Not anything bad at least. Right? What about the ten years at Reborn's house? Hmm?

Think about it. You don't know obviously. And actually, neither do I. I'm the author and I don't know what my story is about. Silly right? Big honey eyes gazed out the window at the sky. The vast blue sky, which surrounded everything. And silly yet, the child though it as the freedom, freedom that was out of his reach. Tiny hands were raised longingly to the sky. Oh, how he longed for it.

"Tsunayoshi!" A shout woke him from his little trance. Who might this be? You all know it anyway. Tsunayoshi "Sawada" aka Tsuna. Right now he is three years old living at the orphanage. "How many times do I have to tell you to stay in your room!? Now go back and think through what I've told you!" Looking at the woman in the eyes, he nodded and stood up and walked back into his room.

This "room" of his, was very small. Just the bed and a tiny shelf. The lady, owner of the orphanage, wasn't exactly "nice". He wasn't treated so badly. He got enough food, just enough. Water, clothes and all that, but that's it. All he needed to survive there. Then there were rules, he had to follow the rules the owner had set, and live under them until someone comes and adopts him. He really wishes that someone would come soon and take him away from here. Yes, he was living okay, and it was enough to the kind hearted child. But, since he's still so young, he has to have dreams right?

He dreamed of the "freedom". This place was just too cold. Do you understand? It's not literally cold. He's feeling cold from the inside. His heart was lonely. And he wanted someone to warm it up, to love it, love, and cherish him. He though that the freedom would bring it. The freedom right now would be, that someone would adopt him. And that someone should love him right? He dreamed of that. But his guts were telling him it would take a long time before that someone would come.
