The slap landed hard across taehyung face and it's sting so much but less than the sharp pain in his heart.
Taehyung stumbled back, his hand holding his burning cheek. His eyes met with his mother's and he saw a moment of distress in her eyes before it again went to cold.

The silence that followed was thick with unspoken words, accusations and trust. Taehyung's mind was blank. He always knew that his parents never really care about him, his happiness so why it's hurts so much...

" Taehyung ", his father began, his voice dangerously low, " What's this?"

Taehyung swallowed hard, his throat suddenly dry. He had a gut feeling, he knew what was coming...

His mother's voice, usually soft and calm was laced with disgust. " This is how we raised you ".

Taehyung's heart clenched . He controlled himself.

" We know about your relationship, " Me Kim said, his eyes narrowed. " And we will never allow this to happen ".

The unspoken rivalry between then cost their children future, happiness.

" Dad, I know you guys don't have good relationship, he was trying to keep his voice stable , " But what does that have to do with me and jungkook".

" Everything!, " Mr kim's voiced roared making taehyung flinch. " He is jeon! Our biggest enemy. I Fucking hate them so much! Do you have any idea what you did? You destroyed my name, honor because of that Fucking jeon jungkook. He is a manipulator, psycho, heartless and man whore.

" Enough? ", taehyung voice echoed in disbelief. How can his dad say something like this. He can tolerate anything about himself but not about his love. " He is my jungkook dad! My jungkook is kind, loving person. His family name doesn't define who he is just like mine ".

Mrs kim's face was in disbelief.
" Don't be naive, Tae ". This isn't just about jungkook and family. It's about jeon. How can you be with someone whose family is manipulator, selfish, hungry for power  , always look down on us and try to insult us ".

" Jungkook had nothing to do with family's business dealing, " Taehyung argued, his voice pleading. " He hates this rivalry as much as I do . We both don't want this life, this throne, power, money. We found each other ".

" Found each other? " Mr kim scoffed. " This is a game, Tae. A dangerous one. They will use you, use this relationship to take down on us ".

" That's not true! "Taehyung protested, his voice was filled with hurt, " Jungkook would never do that ".

" You are blinded by your feelings, " His mother said, her voice was sharp. " We will not allow this. You will breakup with him now ".

Her demand hung in hair. Taehyung stared at them, his heart pounding in his chest. He always knew that this day will come but there was a little and tiny  hope in his heart that his parents will understand him and respect his love and decision.
" You can't ask me to do that. I love him so much ".

His father come in front of him, his face was red from anger. " Love? You dare to love someone from that low family? You betrayed us taehyung, they are our enemy. You are black spot in our family ".

" If this is how you feel", taehyung said his voice trembling with a mixture of hurt and anger. " If your honor and status is more important than your soon happiness then I can't stay here ".
