Chapter 1

Rrrriiiinng! Rrrriiinng! Rrriiinng! .... I tried opening my eyes, but hell did this thing ever happen to be hard! I shut my alarm clock, slid out of my bed covers and walked my way to my bathroom.

"Honey hurry up! I don't want you to be late!" I heard my mom scream at the top of her lungs from down the kitchen.

I turned the water on and waited for it to get warm then get started with my bath. After almost 20 minutes, I walked out of my bathroom, sneaked in my closet and find something to wear.

I wear the typical long-sleeve shirt, a hoodie, loose pants, and a pair of sneakers almost everyday of my life.

After so much time I took on wearing my clothes, I went down to the kitchen to eat breakfast which my mom prepared for us. And yes am I really starving! "Morning mom, Max, Tiff." I said with still tired look on my face, "morning sweetie" my mom replied then kissed me on my forehead. "Where's dad?" I asked curious coz I didn't notice him around the house. "jogging" They all said in unison. "Oh, yeah what's new .." I chuckled remembering that my dad still thinks that he is still young and does everything to stay fit.

So you might be wondering why I took much time wearing my clothes than the regular huh?

Well, to introduce myself, I'm Derick Harvard, 16 years old, I always have my family at my back to support me, my loving mom and dad, protective brother, or should I say OVER-protective brother, and my sister who actually is crazy, well not really crazy, just crazy, crazy, yeah. I'm actually in my Sophomore year in high school, belongs to the 'Honors Class', being this good in academics have also its "perks" of being bullied, not for being smart, but for me being ...... fat. Yeah there I said it, I'm fat. Hey don't laugh! I'm not that fat, I just weigh, uhh, well 170 pounds. oh c'mon get over it.

I also have my best friends Tori and Trevor. we've been friends since the fifth grade, always having a lot of fun.

But there's something more in me, I get a lot attracted to guys, I've known this since I was, I think seven? But hey, my family's just so cool that they accepted me for who I am and promised me to support me for whatever I want. Real cool huh.

Everything came back to reality when I heard a snap in front of my face just to find out that Tori and Trevor have been there waiting since a while ago. "You ok?" Tori asked confused. "You alright buddy? Trevor asked chuckling as he have seen me staring blankly onto nowhere. "Oh, uhh, yeah. Let's go" I said pulling them to enter the school building.
