Matthew
God that kid is so adorable! He's just so funny and ....... cute. Woah what?! did I just say cute, to a boy?? Easy now Matt, you know for a fact that you're straight. He's a boy, there's no way he's going to like you and you liking him!
After my shift at the store, I got to the locker room and changed clothes to go home. I said my good bye to all the employees, got into my car and headed home.
Why does this boy keeps invading space in my head?! What's wrong with me?? Ugh! I just must be exhausted, that's all, tomorrow everything's back to normal, as it should be.
I got into our house after a not so long ride, I parked my car into the garage. A delightful smell invaded my senses, mmm dinner!
"Hey mom" I greeted my mom as I entered the kitchen, "Hey sweetie! How's school?" My mom greeted back to me then pecked a kiss on my forehead. "nothing much ... what's cookin'?" I asked her, leaning closer to her with a huge smirk on my face. "Oh nothing special, just dinner for us." my mom replied then smiled at me.
Gosh with that dish, my mom can be a masterchef!
After a while, mom finished her cooking and I helped her set the table. "Go call your dad and your sister, dinner's ready." my mom told me after putting the food she prepared for us on the table.
"Sure." I scooted out the dinning room then to my dad's office to call him, "hey dad, dinner's ready" I knocked at the door and called for him. "I'll be there in a while!" he shouted from inside his room.
I then went to my sister's room. Before I managed to knock at her door, I heard sobs coming from inside her room, I knocked, got no answer, I tried again, "hey Steph, dinner's ready." I called to her. "O-ok! Be down in a sec." she replied.
I think there's something bothering her. Well, maybe I should give her a time first before I go rumble at her room and ask her what's bugging her.
I went down, back to the dining room, my mom and dad already there, "Your sister?" mom asked as I took my seat. "she'll be down in a while." was all I managed to reply. Not taking so much, my sister appeared at the room, her eyes not so much red than I thought, but I can see that her eyes are teary, most likely tempting tears to fall down. She took a seat beside me. Yep, confirmed, she really got a problem.
I'll just talk to her after dinner.
We finished dinner, my dad and I, as usual, got into the couch and watched sports. Stephanie, my sister, helped mom with the dishes then headed back straight to her room.
After a minute or something, I scooted out from the living room and went straight to the hallway and finally in front of her door.
"Steph? Hey, can we talk?" I knocked at her door silently not wanting our parents to notice.
"Not now Matt." she replied, I heard sobs again,
"c'mon Stephie, I know there's something wrong." before I knock again, I heard the door lock open, I saw her bloodshot eyes, tears flowing on her cheeks.
I hugged her immediately when I got in and saw her face.
I just let her cry her heart out before asking her.
"What's wrong? Tell me." I led her to her bed and we both sat there for a while.
"It's Mark." she spilled, still crying. Mark, her dumbass of a boyfriend. I don't like that guy, I don't even know why. He just really gets into my nerves all the time.
"What happened to him?" I asked her, concerned as hell. Well I'm her brother, I don't want my sister getting hurt, or anyone I love.
"After class, I was walking to my car, I saw him at the carpark, kissing another girl." she explained to me. I felt my face heat up, I clenched my fists in anger and frustration. That asshole! He'll never get away with this. No one messes with the Carters, no one!
