"We must get tortured every other hour," I think to myself. "Nari, me, nari, me, until we're dead. Dead. That word makes me a bit sick to the stomach. I can't imagine death. It scares me. Now I'm scared. I bet Nari is in pain. They sliced her ankles. I put my head down. I miss her.

Nari POV

My ankles burn, I don't want something to happen to me again. Or Mark in that case. I start to hear a doorknob shake, and Kwangsuk walks in. "Its Marks turn next you realize this right?" He says and walks out again. I try to squirm out of my ties because I can't let Mark be tortured. He would be in my debt. I start to cry because I can't untie the string. I'm tired, so I try to sleep, but I can't. To much adrenaline I guess.

Mark POV

Its my turn next. I don't know what to expect. Kwangsuk walks in and places a clock in front of me. It says "1:45" which is almost the end of the 2nd hour. Which means my turn is next. "I will be back, just let me go tell Nari something." Kwangsuk says. He comes back at 1:55 with a taser. That's my "punishment". He tases me not just once, but multiple times until I slowly fade into a patch of light.
Is this what heaven looks like?
