Dear Coffee Boy,

When you found out what I did you got mad.

You said I needed to go to college and get a job and not become a deadbeat lady that owned seven cats instead of a home.

I cried as I saw the anger build up in you.

I yelled that it was my choice.

You yelled that I should shut up.

I yelled that I wouldn't.

You yelled that the neighbors could here us yelling.

I yelled that of course they would and I didn't care.

You yelled that I never cared about anything.

Then I yelled that I did.

And you asked me what I cared for.

And I whispered "you".

Then you grabbed me and kissed me long and hard.

Love (me like you do),
Alice
